👍thumbs up for the effective and cured ambientation, and above all for the rails, so well placed, and even with the right amount of lean, in the curves: the train goes smooth as silk, even over switches. No jolts, sways, or stuff. Thumbs up again 👍
I've watched this video several times and each time I saw something new. I even slowed it down to 1/4 speed to catch every detail and I still miss a lot. Whoever did the trackside scenery did an excellent job with the moss. I've done some experimenting with moss alongside the rails but it don't look as good as this. I'll get better, I hope!
Lots of incredible sweeping and lengthy curves. Some great rock cuts and cool viaducts and bridges the train passes under. I modeled Texas in N-scale, so not many tunnels, and viaducts replaced tunnels as means of breaking up the scenes. Train runs at a nice clip once it gets to the main and it's straightaways. I subscribed tonight.
Very nice and impressive. I'm an old timer train layout builder and it would be nice to live near you folks as I would love to offer my time and former knowledge in helping you finish the immense amount of work you have left . Maybe in another life. I'm very impressed with what I see and good luck. Jim, Hatboro, PA
Hey Chris, at 1:33 there is a small building on the left. By chance is that area supposed to be St Paul? Knowing you guys like to be as realistic as possible, it looks very similar to a drawing my father did of a building my grandfather worked in years ago. My grandfather worked for the railroad most of his life.
I assume you shot this video with a Replay PrimeX camera? I've been trying to get in there to shoot a cab ride video of the layout and they wont' let me in. At least I get to enjoy yours.

Your train was awful slow, so I put the settings to double speed as I went around. You had some great scenery. Kudos!
that is scale speed
A pretty amazing layout, with great "works in progress!" The detail is spectacular! Thanks for posting this video.

Looks very promising, you do the small details like lakes, bridges, and scratch made wooden crossings fantastic.

Where are the human figures?
fantastic layout and ride, shame about the character with the yellow/black hat
The guy running the train?
spoils the effect if you don't mind me saying, distracting.
