  • How to fix the undercarriage stiched on or a more modern solution. It is also clear that the cowl is too big.

      😂 The wooden cowl almost happened. It really goes need an extension for the exhaust.

    I always liberally pot any thread bindings with epoxy, no danger of them rotting out then!

      True but I needed the undercarriage to be able to rotate in the bindings so the cable ties seemed the best move.

      @@MarkCroucherRC4fun I reckon I’d have put a brass tube in and then bent the undercarriage around it, then bound it to the former, your solution is probably lighter but I’d worry about having to replace the tie-wraps should they need to be changed, with them being so well built in.

      @@Pete-tq6in Good idea however the undercarriage was preformed so this was not an option.
      Time will tell regarding the ties
