That riff is nuts!!!
The G.O.A.T
Man, seeing the digital meter that is freaking me out...I mean working in the box is more than ok right! But on a console that costs a whole lot i want analog meters man!! feeling the warmth of the tracks.
Looks like fun
It was!! I’m gonna recap my time at AES, so look out for that video 🙌🏾
How do you know when it’s done? It sounds amazing to me.
Good rough Mix, but all Fx is still missing....
This was strictly leveling and dynamics with the raw stems. No FX processing were in line or in Pro Tools for this 2 minute demo.
@@doubleahitmusic I understand, great Work"😀
Question? Does this sound any good. Looks good.
I know it’s hard to tell from camera audio, but the mix sounded good in the room!
A Van Gough of audio!
Van Gough listened in mono! 😂
From what I can tell you have to build up your skill, speed and ears so that you can trust yourself that anything within a certain amount of hours is done. Then you book your schedule based off of that productivity. Otherwise a mix could last the rest of your life.
True! 💯
su buena Sandia de CLA
Well I would like to see him in home studio working on my tracks....Easy working with mixer and outboarding of 40 k (maybe more)
I’m not at CLA’s level (yet) but I’ll let you in on a secret. The better the source material, the easier the mix will be (no matter what you’re mixing on) 😉
The 16 channel SsL ! Ugh!!!!!!
Mixing sure. Recalling that mix in 2022…not so much. You would have to leave it up and not switch to anything else
You can set levels/automation all in Pro-Tools and keep the ORIGIN faders down while still having access to the on board EQ, Compression, Inserts and even summing.
it also costs $35k... unless you're doing a ton of label work, you'll never make that back, let alone profit
@@danymalsound you can make that back doing a lot of things
@@doubleahitmusic there are still hundreds of studios using 2” tape. This board is a toy.
I’m sure some studio owners will be happy with it. Everything isn’t for everyone 🤷🏾♂️
Sorry CLA, you're going to be out of a job soon... People don't listen to rock anymore. This is a hip-hop world and/or pop with robo-tuned vocals. Drummers? We don't those any more either. Guitars?... are a thing of the past, just the dust on pages in an old history book from the 20th century... Goodnight live bands and instruments. Goodnight analog tape, Neves and SSL's. People want plugins and USB microphones.
Rock forever !!!!!!
Hi Mike. Studio owner here. Perhaps you're trolling but we've never been busier with guitar based rock acts recording mostly live. Have a good day!
Ahh comment wars gotta love it 😂
That's, not true at all. The top charts might be filled with the music you mentioned, but those numbers just reflect a certain demographic in a specific country. The world is filled with music and actual musicians of every genre, they'll never be a thing of the past
