I do know that many engines we build are shipped over seas to be used as power unit moters for generators, pumps, and things like that. We have companyies that sell surplus engines by the thousands that are exported. Thanks for the comment

But the chasis and structure is primary Tatra T815. Unique vehicle, and the truck is almost 30 year old. Still cannot find better one, only minor modifications were made.
The featuring trucks are sports/race vehicles and they are hardly stock. The easiest thing in the world is to tune diesel engines: increase the turbo pressure and give more fuel. Stock TATRAs are awesome because it is the only truck on this world that could achieved EURO-4 with an air-cooled mechanically controlled diesel engine. They do not need to have engine management electronic AT ALL! Everything is pure mechanic. This is the art of engine design.

awsome 8x8's... only trucks ive ever seen that can be offroading, have 5 tires off the ground spinning in mid-air, and still be making productive headway down the course... absolutely beautiful :) only concern is for the judges and onlookers... some close calls in this video, but i guess they all know the dangers when they go.. i'd sure love to be there.. driving or watching.. wouldnt matter to me :)

There is much talk of biodiesel damaging engines. My experience is just the opposite. Everything is running smoothly without a problem. I consulted my diesel mechanic before using it. He indicated that the only problem I might have is a bit of minor blockage as the biodiesel cleaned the engine. I hope I wont have any problems in the future. The vehicle is a 2000 Isuzu NPS300 4x4 motorhome with a non-turbo 4.6l engine.
Severe terrain requires a severe duty truck to get in and out of the area. In Czechoslovakia (Former Soviet Union) the roads there look about like that course. Basically those are private drivers running their trucks to showcase their driving abilities to prospective contracts.
These things are crazy, but a Hummer H1 could do most of that stuff. The fact these things have 8 wheels simultaneously hurts and helps them. The sheer size of the trucks make it tougher.
Since its not as refined its more natural so its not as bad. and plus with most diesel vehicles you can set up a feature were the diesel fumes are reserculated, cleaning the exhaust even more.
The T813 is one of the, or maybe even THE most beautiful piece of machinery, I've ever seen in my life. I'm not exaggerating here, at all, it's just a fact. Especially with a rollover frame, it looks just so awesome from all sides, it has this indescribably beautiful aggressive, yet plain look, which makes everything around me fade away. Turbocharged diesel engines make smoke, when the turbocharger doesn't product enough air pressure to burn all the injected fuel. So when the turbocharger doesn't turn enough, the engine can't burn the injected fuel. That makes the smoke
