I did eventually find out where he was buried because i asked spirit to guide me. His birthday was on the same day as yours and my kitten brought me a big feather 🪶 . My sweet girl a lot of this story was so relatable to me. As a nurse I urge you to take your own advice and stay close to your support network and medical staff. A lot of the symptoms you describe are beyond grief. You have had a very traumatic experience and PTSD is complicating your grief. I struggle to see my hubby even though I thought he would come to me in my dreams. Perhaps he is and I just can’t remember the dreams. I do see butterflies often and like to think he is trying to let me know he is with me. I managed to survive it for my family when death felt easier. You are blessed to have the gift of receiving the messages from beyond the grave. Bless you from Australia
What came to my mind was 'Hurt people hurt people' from Maya Angelou. Nicky, I cannot imagine what you're going through, it was Darren's time to leave this lovely blue planet and he is on the other side watching over you. He sees it all and is with you in spirit (I know it's not the same!). Get away and close the door on the ugliness - what ever is taken from you and Darren will be like sand in the hand and will not last. What you and Darren have is eternal, and and yes You Will Get Through This!
My father knew he was dying. My mother and brother made sure our visit would be cancelled 3 times, and our mail contact. 3 weeks later he died and she (my mother) made sure i didn’t know till after his funeral. She cremated him and made sure I couldn’t say goodbye. This was in January, I am still healing with therapeutic help. I wish you strength! Love and light.
I still grieve for my husband and he left six years ago. You are going through the worst of it now, but you know it will get better. We're all here sending healing and love. It doesn't feel like it at the moment while you still have this raw grief, but you will be able to laugh again and know the joy of being alive in this world. The extreme longing for your person can leave you breathless, the massive headaches, anxiety through the roof, loss of appetite, every cell in your body wrecked with pain. I just wanted to be with him but could not pass that pain on to my family, so you get through each day for them. We had 10 wonderful years together and, like you, difficult prior relationships, then when we found each other, that special love was a precious gift that I thank the Lord for every day. I know you will not be able to imagine 14 months down the road, I couldn't at the time get through3 days never mind 3 years I want you to know, every day gets a tiny bit better and a day closer to the time you will be together again. I’m so sorry Nicky. Please don’t give up. You are here for a reason! Your painful experiences help thousands. My 4 sisters banned me and my youngest sister from our mother’s funeral. So a couple weeks later 12 of us had our own grave site memorial service. My mom’s spirit explained why we were not allowed. After a few days I let it go because grief serves no purpose when it is dragged on and on. There are no accidents. Everything is divinely orchestrated. Answers will come as time moves on. 🙏❤️

Brad Yates Tapping for Loss and Grief helped me. My brother just passed away. His wonderful wife honoured his wishes. He didn't want a funeral he wanted a celebration of life. All friends and family got together and ate, drank, played cricket and spoke of our memories. Most of us now want this instead of a funeral. Hopefully this helps a little. ❤

My sweet girl a lot of this story was so relatable to me. As a nurse I urge you to take your own advice and stay close to your support network and medical staff. A lot of the symptoms you describe are beyond grief. You have had a very traumatic experience and PTSD is complicating your grief. I struggle to see my hubby even though I thought he would come to me in my dreams. Perhaps he is and I just can’t remember the dreams. I do see butterflies often and like to think he is trying to let me know he is with me. I managed to survive it for my family when death felt easier. Nicky, I cannot imagine what you're going through, it was Darren's time to leave this lovely blue planet and he is on the other side watching over you. He sees it all and is with you in spirit (I know it's not the same!). Get away and close the door on the ugliness - what ever is taken from you and Darren will be like sand in the hand and will not last. What you and Darren have is eternal, and and yes You Will Get Through This!

My father knew he was dying. My mother and brother made sure our visit would be cancelled 3 times, and our mail contact. 3 weeks later he died and she (my mother) made sure i didn’t know till after his funeral. She cremated him and made sure I couldn’t say goodbye.
This was in January, I am still healing with therapeutic help.

Dearest Nicky, you arrived on my feed just after I lost my partner 14 months ago, listening to you kept me sane in my grief. You are now in the very raw, painful stages of your journey. The extreme longing for your person can leave you breathless, the massive headaches, anxiety through the roof, loss of appetite, every cell in your body wrecked with pain. I just wanted to be with him but could not pass that pain on to my family, so you get through each day for them. We had 10 wonderful years together and, like you, difficult prior relationships, then when we found each other, that special love was a precious gift that I thank the Lord for every day. I know you will not be able to imagine 14 months down the road, I couldn't at the time get through3 days never mind 3 years I want you to know, every day gets a tiny bit better and a day closer to the time you will be together again. I’m so sorry Nicky. Please don’t give up. You are here for a reason! Your painful experiences help thousands. My 4 sisters banned me and my youngest sister from our mother’s funeral. So a couple weeks later 12 of us had our own grave site memorial service. My mom’s spirit explained why we were not allowed. After a few days I let it go because grief serves no purpose when it is dragged on and on. There are no accidents. Everything is divinely orchestrated. Answers will come as time moves on. 🙏❤️

Brad Yates Tapping for Loss and Grief helped me. My brother just passed away. His wonderful wife honoured his wishes. He didn't want a funeral he wanted a celebration of life. All friends and family got together and ate, drank, played cricket and spoke of our memories. Most of us now want this instead of a funeral. Hopefully this helps a little. ❤
We are all holding space for you, as I finally understand what "holding space" means, at age 58. I know you can feel us all surrounding you. I see it in my third eye. I wonder if we've all been a coven before and then scattered to all ends of the earth... and these huge crazy changes for you in this lifetime. I don't know. But I know we're here for you while you're trying to be there for us.
We know you are, as you said, very spiritually strong, and we know you will come through this insanity. You are making it through, as you know.... and thank God that you had come back up through your previous traumas and built up this tribe for you, for us, and for legacy after we're all passed on.
