I love this song and of course, I love this band. I knew nothing about New Orleans jazz, etc. before I ran across Tuba Skinny on RUclips. Now, I'm obsessed with them. I'm also crazy about Erika and Shaye singing country music. They are terrific! Thanks for the video.

Sorry to have to disappoint you, but it was not composed by Shaye. 'Cold Mornin' Shout' was composed in 1926 by Bobby Leecan for The South Street Trio. You can hear the original recording from 1926 by typing 'Cold Morning Shout - South Street Trio' in RUclips . By the way, Tuba Skinny included this tune on their 'Pyramid Strut' CD.

It is Shaye's composition and she is, indeed, highly talented.

@@PopsCoffee, Crikey! That's about the 3rd error in the notes I made the night I recorded that. In the future I suppose I'll have to go lighter on the whisky if I want to decrease my error rate .
