LETS GO WHAT A W VIDEO!! Honestly, I don’t think we are ever going to see Hytale come, and if it does, I feel like it would have a massive spike and then decline quickly with the amount of people that are grown like you mentioned. Sad but that’s the truth in my opinion.
It does suck that we have to be kept in the dark, but sometimes things happen. Look at Star Citizens and Duke Nukem Forever. Now, I don't think it'll take THAT long to make, but keep in mind these guys are adding in modding tools. At a bare minimum, I would expect it to no less than *double* the time it takes. And look on the bright side, they're not trying to scam anyone currently because you can't buy the game as prepurchase.
i hope they don't use vanguard for their anticheat... i am really hoping for it... actually since microsoft themselves is working on their own anticheat-like API, i expect anti-cheats to die off, and all new games use whatever microsoft hands them to monitor cheaters...

2:55 Its not a anticheat, its a anti tamper. a anti cheat is effective and server sided. Here on gnu/linux we hate these antitampers as tehy block wine (they arent even driving). Anti-tampers are ineffective.
In this video you did not really mention the main reason for it's delay well enough. The main reason for its delay was Hypixel Studios having to swap engines and rebuild the game from scratch and the fact that they released the announcement trailer way too early into development. Swapping game engines also meant that they had to swap out, train and hire their employees.
