After years of struggles and 17 embyos not working I used PGT-A and it worked on the first try. For me the technique saved my life and gave life to my now 3 year old son...
It is a test that lacks plausible scientific evidence, the information against it is overwhelming, despite the disturbing commercial pressure on doctors and patients.
Thank you Dr. for your information. I had multiple IVF cycles. My embryos are dumped after PGT-A testing. Your scientific articles provide valuable information and hope. Please help me.
i have done 2 ivf cycles my age was 39 in 2 cycles i got 4 embryos got to day 6 blastosyst and went for pgd a testing and one came back normal i lost my 3 babies...when i asked my doc do transfer the abnormal embryo he said we dont transfer abnormal embryos...now i am crying for my those embryos i wish i could not send for testing 😢 i have 1 boy i want more kids my age is 42 now

I am searching for all kind of preimplantation tests (I am using donor egg) I am thinking about it due to of my 2nd failed transfer. I started to have hope that any NCG /PGT test will help to find or increase the chance to select the best embrio
I have 6 embryos out of which 2 are more abnormal and 1 embryo is low mosaic which has 2 and 20 chromosome abnormility.can i transfer the low mosiac ??
I have been watching all of your videos, and it all seems very hopeful. But what are the risks if the embryo is indeed abnormal? Are you ending pregnancies that are headed in that direction? The upside seems very positive, but my concern is what is the DOWNSIDE, realistically? Are none of these mosiac embryos leading to the birth of children with mental and physical issues?
That is y same question. I would like to know, what happens if the embryo successfully implants but I didn't perform PGT before? is there a way of knowing about any genetic issues?
Girlfriend, I feel ya! After 7 cycles (thankfully covered by insurance at the time, but future cycles are gonna have to be out of pocket), ALL with abnormal embryos each time, we’re gonna take a little break to do some more testing on my own various hormone levels and immune system before trying again. We have an aneuploid -4 and complex aneuploid -16, -18. Is there any chance of a successful pregnancy if we transfer them? Our fertility specialist says no. We also have a low mosaic aneuploid +8, which she is willing to transfer. What are the chances of this succeeding?
It’s not the embryo that is aneuploid or mosaic, it’s placenta. PGT-A tests placenta and it divides quickly and has errors that work themselves out. The best way is to let the nature make the selection, not faulty test
@mariashermalik7291 My response is late, but I know someone who has embryos awaiting transfer and she was already told the genders. So, yes, it is possible.
Ah yes! This paper that was recently published in NCB where the authors failed to provide a proper characterisation of the hPSCs. Sadly, these data do not in anyway conflict with our current understanding of PGT-A in trophoblast biopsies. Funny how this guy and the co-author of this ridiculous paper are co-founders of a company that works towards this argument. Additionally, the paper has been relatively rejected by the scientific community in this area because it’s just utter garbage. How do these data even consider mosaicism in human embryo development?

Thank you for your video I'm so happy to watch it before my eggs retrieval. We refused PGT-A.
how is your journey going on after refusing pgta ?

Is there a way to see all these studies and findings doctor? Thank you for the information.
In Europe the embrace genetic test is promoted which is checking the liquid culture the embryo was developing. Any comment about this method please?

Hi, can I ask if the embryos seen to be self correcting were diagnosed as whole chromosome aneuploid, segmented aneuploid, or mosaic? Thank you.
I asked this same question and no answer back.

Embryos can correct themselves but not abnormal embryos can. So it’s a risk.
Mind blowing.
So how we can go for gender selection?without PGT.
no way to do it only termination after you screen for the gender while pregnant 🤷🏼♀️ in most countries it is illegal to select based on gender anyway
