She took the criticism from the tabloids and other salacious stories in the media about her dating life and basically said the character they created in that ridiculousness was amazing! There are videos floating around where she's explaining her creative process while writing this song if you wanna check it out! She's hilarious! Her dating life was and still is completely normal. The only problem is that she is under a microscope, so ANY man she is seen with can cause the media to go into a tailspin. As if she actually dated EVERY single guy she was seen with in whatever capacity. Worst of all, some people's assumption that she's slept with every guy she has ever been 'linked' with. Newsflash, world! You CAN hang out or even date someone and NOT be intimate in that way. Especially when several of her 'relationships' were short-lived and most were in her teens and 20's. (Again, as is TYPICAL with I'd say a pretty decent majority of people in that same age range.) Now, she's a grown ass woman and ended a 6+ year relationship. Let us normalize it being okay okay to find love in our 30's instead of potentially rushing in our 20's? I'm 36, (with a 14yo son) and I'm telling you, 20's and 30's are wildly different. I LOVE IT! 30's are far more stable in every aspect of life, in my humble opinion. Sorry for my rant. Lol. It pisses me off how she was treated while doing totally normal things at her age(s). I started to see it rear its ugly head in the media again after she and Joe broke up. When she was hanging out with Matty Healey (sp?) and too many people were throwing a fit about it being, 'too fast.' Now, it's all about her and Travis Kelce. ❤💛❤️ A relationship I am fully invested in, even though it has zero effect on me or my personal life. 😂 However, I was born, raised, and still reside in Kansas City, Missouri. (Many places in KC & the Greater Metro area in my life.) I am a lifelong Chiefs fan AND I have been a Swiftie since Taylor released her debut, self-titled album in 2006. [I was 19yo & it was over a year after I graduated from High School. 😂] This is very exciting for most of the Kelce fans I know, who have shared their opinions! It's also great for our city, since recently Taylor has so generously donated I believe a signed platinum record to a Patrick Mahomes auction for one of his charity's events. I think it raised over $10k or something? SO kind of her to do! I am so very happy for them both and hope people leave them TF alone and allow them to try and build a good foundation for their relationship without prying eyes, rumors, and stalking them. Apparently, my rant wasn't over. 😂 I'm finally done.
