What a stupid, dangerous, pointless and unnecessary manoeuvre. Why not just avoid doing it altogether? Why demonstrate to new drivers how to do something given your comments you clearly don't agree with.

I'll be taking my test for the 3rd time on Wednesday and praying as I've been taking lessons for 8 years now and over 200 hours of lessons and my last fail was with 0 minors! They failed me on something that should of only been a minor.
Fly High I passed my test last week with 5 minor just a month before expiring my theory test certificate ..yeah v true life gives lovely surprises sometimes 😃

Theory test passed on 12/12, practical test passed on 19/12. I had 4 hours driving mock test (since has been driving for 15years in different country and continents) But, your videos does helped me a lot, thank you very much. Hugs!!
When reversing for about 2 car lengths, this can be a bit tricky for Learners though if they focused more on looking at the back window. I suggest 50/50 with the Right wing mirror, as a slight turn of the wheel will cause the front or back tyre hitting the kerb.

Bloody brilliant video I failed my test recently for going to slow on a short stretch of dual carriage way, only thing I failed for with 0 minors this was after everything and just round corner from test centre so I now have to retake my test doing the new test and this was one of my concerns thank you

The examiner will be able to see better than the driver, will they give out minors for being hesitant if they see a gap before you? Will you be able to ask the examiner for help seeing a gap? So many questions. Anyway i passed back in May and i dont ever park up on the right. Ever. :-/

It's no more "dangerous" than any other driving manoeuvre when done correctly and safely. That's why they make you do it, so you know HOW to do it safely. Hi I head this monuver and you know what it was in an busy junction traffic coming from the left because of the roundabout but I did this on the right side and he failed me 9 mistakes I made but I hope 3rd time better this video is helpful
I don't really think this should've been added to the test but pulling up on the right is definitely useful. It's just not practical to turn around every time you need to stop on the other side of the road.
Hi Chris, hope you’re well. Can you make a video on ‘driving in icy/snowy conditions’. I passed my test last year am scared to drive in the cold/snow. Just a couple of days ago the temperature was 0degrees and my car kept stalling once it was bought to a stop! Plz help
why is it important to look at the rear window for a lot of manoeuvres etc because I feel like I don't know what I'm looking for and it confuses me. I'm one of the people who just stares at her right hand mirror and makes mistakes due to it.
I dont know why theyve put this into the driving test when it's advised against doing it. Same as when I last did my test they used to have reverse around a corner in the test and it got removed because it was deemed dangerous. Just hoping I pass hopefully 3rd time lucky on wednesday

So u turn the steering wheel about a quarter of a turn toward the side you're pulling over then turn the steering wheel back the other way about a quarter of a turn then recover when the car is straight?

Hi Chris for the steering reference is it if I am to close to the kerb I should steer left and if I’m not near the kerb I should steer right and if it’s correct the steering wheel should be aligned with the kerb
I have my driving test tomorrow and watched this video to revise however my instructor has always told me to start my observations from the left and finish up looking out of the drivers window at the blind spot when reversing.Where as this video demonstrates the opposite.Wjo is correct or does it not matter ?? Thanks in advance
Now I’m worried - this wasn’t the same setup as my instructor told me... like he says as I reverse, I check my blind spot, then front window then other blind spot so I’m not really looking out rear window much - would that be ok?

This move is stupid and they shouldn't have added it if you need to park on the wrong side keep driving and turn around when safe
actually thats even worse and just wastes time i pull up on the right side all the time just signal right then do it

where i live there are one way roads that require you to park on the right
if you cant pull up on the right while signalling then you shouldnt be driving lol.
