- I use different spray caps, for every step in the painting process. So I thought it was a good idea to finally explain why I choose certain graffiti caps.

These days there are so many spray caps on the market that it's hard to choose which one you should use, especially as a starting graffiti artist. Over the couple of years I've been sticking to a couple of graffiti caps that I really like and help me to do the job. So I hope this video is useful and that you know which graffiti caps you could use the next time that you go out!

Great video with useful info. I always experiment with different caps but if i had to chose my favorite three would be astro fat, montana standard and yellow universal

I've seen this video like 3 times in all my graffiti career and it's really useful. It also made me see how much I've learnt and how my cap preferences have changed.
Yeah man, I used to use fats a lot and thought they were elite. Now I love a skinny cap, universal is the best for fill ins in my opinion.

@@maxpayneful4328 any recs? stuck with wides/NY fats (and occasional flat/calligraphy caps for one-off projects) for so long because I always figured it was just a skill issue to not manage thin lines with fats, but did a lot of testing/practice yesterday and no matter how light my touch is, skinny lines are nearly impossible with a fresh can, okay with a half-full and if you move quick enough but it's def not skinny lmao. size 2 maybe? what do you rec

The Pocket Cap is called Standard Cap as well. At least in Germany. I use it for quick and dirty outlines without cutting.

What’s the best cap for fills that are compatible with rustoleum cans
Idk i guess use a rusto fat or a fat cap from any aerosol spray or use a uprok cap adapter for rustos

The orange dot black cap is perfect for everything. It's the stock black cap it fills fast it does a good thick fat outline and it can be thinner if you go faster it's the perfect cap.
My favourite cap for throw ups is the astro fat as u can get thick fast fill ins and use it for outlining. A good all rounder
astro fats on burner chromes are madd, first outlined my throwie and it was basically already filled in hahaha

Am I the only one whose been using New York fats for everything for 15 years
when i am on the street, i am usually only using the stock black/orange montana cap for everything, in chill spots i go for the yellow universal and sometimes montana level 1 for details
Tried the german skinny cap probably 10 times, feel like it clogs super easy and it gives a very low output, i prefer the standard cap or needle😅 maybe i just had a bad batch, or i just suck with it lol
Hi, have you ever done a review of the mtn maximo cans (especially the chrome one)? I'm really curious about them, but I don't have a budget that allows me to experiment so much new stuff.
if u on a low budget and finally manage to buy a chrome Maximo put a flame blue soft cap for your filled it will for sure save up a lot of the paint in the can while on the other hand using these type of cans is really fun but u end up fucking up the whole can much much more quicker than you would with the soft cap

I know why he uses gloves. It’s so if he leaves behind a can he doesn’t leave his finger print for the cops so they can’t find him if they discover the can.

this is the most confusing part for me. especially since cans are different from one to another and they have male/female stuff

The Mtn pocket cap is a horrible cap in my opinion. It’s not clean and the paint comes a little bit unsteady out the cap, because at some points of the lines there much output so it drips, or sometimes it has lower output, and then you don’t have a 100% full line. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I don’t like this cap
For me when i did panels i preffer astro fat or hardcore fat cap for fill and background and pink fat for outline and details
Exact same combo I use. Those are my go to.
Damn no NY fats? All you need are NY fats Lego thins or universal thins.

I love the MTN Super Fat cap for the full in and die outlines I often use the NY Fat cap
I personally don't really like ny fats, only because they feel awkward for me. But their output is very satisfying

Streetwise, the astro fat cap is glorious, you can basically make a solid throw up in less than 2 mins if made correctly. I love these paired with hardcore mtn cans, rlly good for street bombs.

In not that good i know i hafe good can control know distance but dont hafe a style or name jet but i like thin caps it gets stuck faster but its ok 😄

Man kann sagen was man will aber das MTN Hardcore Medium Cap ist einfach das beste. Finde das einzige was man wirklich universell einsetzen kann. Bei (fast) allen anderen ist entweder das Fill in zu langsam oder die Outline zu dick. Aber besser ist natürlich von allen drei Arten Caps mitzuhaben. Da sieht das Piece direkt besser aus;)

Skinny pro and ny fat are the best caps
The pocket cap looks like it’s the stock cap that came with all the Peter Kwasny (Belton, Multona, Auto-K) cans before graffiti products came along.

As someone who uses and loves LOOP paint their cap is the worse, so low pressure and slow, I'd argue it's the worst of the three you showed there.
My top 5: Lego cap, MTN cream, NY fat, Boston Fat, Boston Thin
