    Thanks for the video. I learned a tip for installing the trigger bar. If you let the bar end go down the magazine well a little, the trigger will drop into place, and then the bar will swing up into position. No need to release the top spring or remove the safety bar.

    Excellent, could not have changed the trigger without the video. I fell foul of all the info of what can go wrong with reassembly. I am now very confident to take out and refit the trigger bar. I found the trigger adjustment once fitted very
    trixy !

    Nice Video, I am glad I watched it before doing the job. Especially nice comments and video on removal and installation of the trigger bar. Only suggestion would have been to explain the adjustments on the trigger and that adjustment of the pre-travel mean taking it apart, making the adjustment, assembly and test.

    You need to make a video on the sp2022 trigger install aswell.That way you'll have covered almost all the Trigger install basically every SIG model !👍😉

    Correct. It’s best to leave some pre and post travel so that everything works properly.

    AC makes some phenomenal triggers recently just picked one up for my Rex zero 1t which I opted for instead of the legion 226 and after installing it out of curiosity I wanted to see what it was like on the sig and it looks like a way bigger pain in the ass. If your not changing springs ( I plan to at some point) I didn’t even have to take the grip covers off or even take the trigger bar all the way out of the gun it doesn’t have a big of a lip on the frame. First time ever taking the gun apart I had that puppy on in about 5 minutes. And the feel and performance is definitely worth the upgrade love the serrations on the front and they just look cool as hell. I think they also did a lot nicer job of hiding the screws on the arex they are visually out of sight it’s a little more difficult to adjust but I can still do it without having to remove anything or take anything apart

    Thanks for your very informative and detailed vids. I did that install and made those adjustments. Getting to the pre travel screw was impossible without having to remove the trigger bar assembly. After going back and forth this way I thought I finally had it adjusted just right. BUT of course nothing is easy. Now my manual safety WILL NOT engage. I'm assuming I have to back off my pre travel screw more to get it to function?

    Hello, what is the reason you have the Armory Craft RED hammer spring installed and not the yellow one? Is it just personal feeling or has the yellow one ever failed to ignite the primer? Kind regards

    • @SigGuy
      @SigGuy  3 года назад +1

      Reliability. Never had a problem with the yellow spring either though. I shoot mostly Winchester small pistol primers though. Those have a thinner cup than primers such as CCI. Red will be reliably for everything as yellow might not be for CCI. You’ve just got to experiment yourself and determine what works best for you.

      @@SigGuy So I was on a range today and was firing S&B 7.5g 9x19mm Luger ammo with my P226 Legion with the RED/Purple setup. I fired 100 rounds and I got 3 fails to ignite the priming mixture. All of these were on the SA mode. I saw your video on the Ultimate master spring tuning kit and I think if I put just the Green spring I should be fine. Kind regards

    Would you mind elaborating on the benefits of the purple seer spring? I also purchased the Armory craft spring kit but the skeleton hammer was out of stock. Can I still make adjustments to my springs using the stock hammer?

    • @SigGuy
      @SigGuy  4 года назад +1

      CavemenBros absolutely! Once you get a new hammer just make sure it’s to your liking still. If not switch to a different spring. No problem.The purple sear spring is a lighter spring therefore it reduces trigger pull weight.

    Need advice/help. Would it be better to use a Sig Sauer SRT Kit or an Armory Craft SRT kit?? Not sure but I’m having issues when firing my gun, sometimes my gun will fire and sometimes it doesn’t. The mechanics seem to function but sometimes it doesn’t go bang. I did a complete upgrade on my 2020 Sig Sauer P226 Navy. Armory Craft SRT kit, Armory Craft skeleton hammer, Armory Craft skeleton flat double adjustable trigger, Armory Craft super strut, Armory Craft hammer strut spring and recoil spring (red color spring for both), Armory Craft solid stainless steel guide rod, and purple sear spring. I’m pretty sure I’ve installed everything correctly. Not sure if it’s the safety lever that came in the kit or the adjustable trigger or something else. I’ve adjusted the trigger since then but haven’t had a chance to go to the range to see if the same issue remains. Any ideas ??

    • @SigGuy
      @SigGuy  3 года назад

      By “sometimes not fire” are we talking about light primer strikes or are we talking about a mechanical issue causing the mechanics not to operate properly?

    • @violater247
      @violater247 3 года назад

      @@SigGuy Thanks for replying. The mechanics seems to work. I pull the trigger than the hammer goes back then strikes forward but no bang. It would be ok after a few rounds then it would not shoot a round. The hammer goes back and strikes forward but no bang. Maybe light hammer strikes but not sure. I tried the pencil/pen test to see if it’s my firing pin spring but it shoots the pen up but not as hard as my other pistols. I was thinking maybe the springs are too weak or my trigger was adjusted to far back maybe. But then why would it shoot at first then not. But I adjusted further out have to go to the range and try it again

    • @SigGuy
      @SigGuy  3 года назад +1

      @@violater247 I would suggest putting a much heavier spring in and then trying that. Bring all your springs with you and if that one works flawless then put the next lighter one in. Process of elimination.
