I took my daughter to see this when she was 3. Now she is 5 and still talks about how amazing this show was. I loved it! I hope it comes back to our town someday because I will make sure to get much better seats this time.
This was such a beautiful show. My kids loved it of course and i was really moved at times. Listening to the story, seeing these huge "creatures" right in front of me.... almost moved me to tears. The beauty of our world of long ago. I wonder if far into the future, beings somewhere will be looking at a show called Walking with humans?
I can't get over how smoothly the movements of the robots were! The legs seemed a tiny bit trippy, I guess that's why they have a platform. The neck, jaw and eyes were amazing. I'm going to sound dumb, but I wonder how they controlled them so perfectly! A controller, probably, but it's almost like the costumes! Except, they're robots, not costumes..
This kind of stuff just looks awesome. I'll take this over CGI anyday. Be it a dinosaur, a movie monster or even a starship, things just look better when they are really there, not pixels in a computer.
saw this yesterday with my son. Great! we had to travel from dallas to cedar park because the dallas shows where added later and I already brought the tickets. Well worth the trip!
Oh wooooow, this is amazing! I would've loved this so much as a kid. Hope they still do these kind of things in the future so I can take my own kids to see this.
@@aa-to6ws Thanks for asking! Unfortunately I didn't get to see it. Maybe someday something even cooler comes around. So, ask me again in seven years. :- D
I remember when this show came to Boise when I was much younger, it was awesome! The Tyrannosaur's roar was very loud and quite fierce. I remember having to cover my ears at first as a kid.
I've seen this show live and it's amazing! The dinosaurs are huge, realistic and the animatronics and actors are great! It looked so realistic that my little niece got freaked out by the t-rex.
Very well said. :) I've watched another video featuring one of the smaller raptors with the person in them, and they actually are partly robotic as well. It's the human walking/moving it around, but it apparently takes a three-man team to operate the whole thing, such as the blinking, the head movements, etc.
Man I went to this when I was kid and remember how realistic they were. How much i was obsessed with dinosaurs then... I'll take this over CGI any day.
Actually, I agree completely with what you said. Just one thing though - It's just that dinosaur knees are actually bent the same way human knees are. The only difference is that dinosaurs (as well as most other animals as a matter of fact) walk on their toes, while humans use their whole feet. So in essence, those are not knees you're referring to, but ankles instead.
Love the video and would love to see this in person! But I would also like to know the names of the music you used in this video, they fit so well and were very beautiful!
i was a big dino fan as a kid on faction in France we found out a show of walking with dinosaurs was held close to where we were. Man i was the happiest kid ever :p petted a triceratops i was 6 xD i can remember that stuff so clearly even now i am 22 now.
Incredible animatronics and movements! Human legs coming out of raptor genitalia is perfectly normal. lol But seriously, they do a phenomenal performance and is a wonderful spectacle for any dino enthusiast!
Jimmy Hylton I've been to one of the shows, it isn't the JP roar, but it is quite loud and fierce. It's a very good roar, especially when you hear it in person.
I agree with you, but would like to add those aren't the dinosaurs kneecaps. Their kneecaps are bent the same way as ours. What you think is its knees is actually its ankles. Much like many other animals, like cats chickens etc, they have different proportions for different parts of the legs and feet.
What would Sir Richard Owen ( invented the Name Dinosaurs ) and Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins ( plans and build the first livesice Dinosaur Figures ever) say when they see this?
I never saw this but god was I missing out. Damn sickness. I liked the part when baby trex called I look at the bigger one come out... and exclaimed. "Here comes momma"
When my dog died it went to the planet that now has dinosaurs on it and was born an Ankylosaurus. 5:00 So I know what an Ankylosaurus is like as a dog. It was exciting to realize it and when she was alive I tried to tell her that I knew where she came from and what she was going to again be.
This video changed the shows history itself with the music it makes everything fantastic which means this video should have been on TV

How old is she now
Going to this live show was one of the best experiences I ever had as a little kid.
This is a BBC Earth history right here
I saw this in Seattle when I was a kid. Great experience. Nothing cooler than dinosaurs, man.

How about your very own castle
my god technology has come such a long ways. I'm astounded at how amazing those bigger dinos are, and the smaller suits... I WANT ONE
got 5k? I wish I was rich..

I love your videos so much. From your number 1 fan daxon
Saw this show over here in England, absolutely mindblowing, recommend it to anybody.
Glad to hear you saw the show!

Still my favorite show of all the shows I’ve watched live. Wish this was still going

They aren't robots, they are animatronic suits. Robotic technology isn't advanced enough yet for something like this.
I believe the bigger dinosaurs are animatronic, while the smaller dinosaurs are just suits
Anyssa Montano it's true the smaller ones are suits bigger ones are animatronics and you Olso control them and a guy rides in them to move em!
The bigger ones ride on that thing you see below them. There is a person driving it (inside the thing under their legs)
Well some are costumes bigger dinosaurs with the pole in them have 3 people control them the small ones have one performer inside
This kind of stuff just looks awesome. I'll take this over CGI anyday. Be it a dinosaur, a movie monster or even a starship, things just look better when they are really there, not pixels in a computer.
Completely agree. Bring back the 80's monsters in films
@@amywhitingaga Jurassic Park was 1997, and Walking With Dinosaurs started in 1999, and this live show was 2007. Not the 80s.
I like both.
@@bagelbramble7335 Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park was published in 1990, the movie was released in theaters in 1993.

Man that show was EPIC!It was in my country last autumn.Friggin badass. And what amazed me was how realistic it was.
14 years,14 years since I have seen this, and it is as beautiful as i remember it
I remember when this show came to Boise when I was much younger, it was awesome! The Tyrannosaur's roar was very loud and quite fierce. I remember having to cover my ears at first as a kid.
Maybe if they used smoke on the ground you won't see the human legs or platform support on the dinosaurs.
That's what i was thinking
Yeah, that is kinda lame that you can see those human legs so clearly....and those platforms D=
I remember when I saw this. It's so beautiful.
I loved that show. Truly amazing mechanics and all.
I am from Germany and i have seen this awesome show! I love this!
THAT T-REX SO FREAKING SCARY AT WALKING WITH DINOSAURS LIVE TOUR - IN CEDAR PARK TEXAS !!!
the timing at 5:30 with the music was unbelievable :D
I saw this show, it was fantastic!
This is incredibly moving and very well done. I would love to see that live.

I think this is one of those shows that needs to be experienced in person to really appreciated. interesting none the less.
I want to steal one of them and just ride it down the street! >:3
Lol you're a dork
Yup! :D
shaylen sanders Lol no one gives a fuck.

This makes me want to have kids just so I can take them to this awesomeness.
Ive seen walking with dinosaurs the live tour, and I loved it the T-Rex at the end was LOUD!
greatest show in my LIFE
I saw this when i was 7 or 8 and it brought back so much nostalgia
it would've been better if they added smoke on the stage to cover the dinosaur's platform. it will then look 100% realistic! phenomenal job tho
This is so cool! I would love to walk around in a dino costume all day and act like a dinosaur!
when i went to see this i was blown away it was amazing
Love the video and would love to see this in person! But I would also like to know the names of the music you used in this video, they fit so well and were very beautiful!
omg i love dinosaurs and these look so real i cant believe it
I just bought tickets to the show in Newcastle (Aus). Cant wait.
I wish I saw it when it came through. I am sad that I didn't have the knowledge what I was missing out on. A great show!
this was such a good show!

Watching that T-Rex walk on stage still makes me get chills. That thing is INTIMIDATING.
Man I wish to see this. Cuz this video just inspired me! I'll give you a like and a subby.
was very expensive (compared to the usual theatre ticket) but absolutely awsome :D
never realised they went to america with it
That was super real but the platforms could have been hidden by smoke though
Wow that look totally awesome!! Wish i was there
Hello pleaaase could you tell me the name's fo the music you use for this video??? PLEAAAASE :) thank you
man this was some epic work
I need this technology!
THIS IS OUTSTANDING!!
I wish I could have gone, I fell in love with dinosaurs ever since I was little, and I still do
are they all controlled by people inside them or are some remote controlled?
I saw this Show when it came to El Paso it was great!
I had no idea! Thank you so much. :D
wow!
Adam this is amazing!
I hope that they use the t-rex roar from jurassic park. the would be the coolest thing to see.
I totally agree!!

Jimmy Hylton This is meant to be realistic. The JP roar is not accurate at all.
Jimmy Hylton I've been to one of the shows, it isn't the JP roar, but it is quite loud and fierce. It's a very good roar, especially when you hear it in person.
Your observation skills are exceptional
I went to see that in Houston. It was awesome! 👍👏
This absolutely amazing
I love taking a break from CGI and seeing these because this is probably would a dinosaur would look like in real life
I bet those baby T-rex hybrid puppets are heavy as hell, but that is probably the best example of live puppetry I've ever seen
Amazing show! I think that if dinosaurs still exist they would look like that(almoste)
its a fantanstic idea to educate the people a great show.
OMG WALKING WITH DINOSAURS IT'S SO AWSOME
Incredible is awesome the greatest thing I ever seeing in my whole life really I can't believe it
i cant wait to see it, itll be in WA. usa in spring!!!!
i love dinosaurs...this is a tribute to them
I saw this when it came to Utah, it was incredible.
Fantastic made !
I went and saw that show at that center and I might have been in that audience!

Ive been to this show, those dinosaurs are HUGE. and realistic ..it freaked me out lol
@ Bleck, these are robotic. Each dinosaur is controlled by THREE technicians except for the smaller ones that are costumes worn by cast
SOOOO realistic...I mean just look at the movements of the adult T-rex. Unreal...it really is!
love the guys wearing the dinosaurs outfits :)
i saw this in HOuston,TX at the Toyota Center!!! IT WAS GREATT!!!!
I'd crap myself if I suddenly bumped into one of these.
Wow I love that place
