Webers are not just for racing, if they are 100% sound and mounted with the right adapters!
They lasted well in my Hillman Imp and surprise, surprise, didn't raise the fuel consumption over
    50mpg, despite R17 cams etc!

There are different DCOEs with different amounts of progression holes, the more the merrier for street use and they work GREAT!! Fajs 152G 45s has 5 holes 😉

Cracking video, everything I needed to know, hopefully will sound as good as the Hillman and will behave at idle now.

got triple webers on my hemi 265 straight 6 and never had to retune them in 20 years. Car drive like fuel injection in heavy traffic and can do a 14s 1/4 mile

Weber are not just flat out race carburetors. Its the versatile design and tuning parts that make them so great.
You need to understand how every circuit works with the progression of vacuum from displacement, cam size, and timing.
Weber, empi, and every clone you can get will all tune the same way with the same parts. With the exception of the clone IDF carburetors. Those will most likely use venturis from a 44 to work in a 40.

Weber's go out of tune because people keep playing with them. Set them once and leave them alone, and you need to do some motorway driving at least once a week. If your car was fitted with Webers at the factory, the engineer picked the correct jet and venturie to suite your car.
