- What you place your hope in will become the guiding force in your life. Many of us have placed our hope in something that will fail us. Here's how to find hope in God.

This was/is a fantastic message. I came across you yesterday while searching for God's promises online and I read your article about the true meaning of Jeremiah 29:11. Great article and it supports my concerns about how many pastors misconstrue some of the promises made to others in the Bible and not necessarily to us today. So, I looked for more and found this sermon, set against the backdrop of the pandemic-but a timeless message nonetheless. I just feel inspired to comment. First of all, as I tell God all the time, whenever I read the Bible or listen to sermons-well, he scares the hell out of me. He did allow his own son to suffer the cross. And if God ever appeared to me and pledged an oath as he does to Abraham and others in the Bible-that would be easy to obey and commit to. I'm not impressed by people who obey God after seeing him, hearing him, or being visited by angels! Hahaha! If you can't do that- well...wow! I'm a lifelong Christian, raised Presbyterian, I put God first every day from the moment my eyes open. It's how I spend my morning and what I am doing right now. After that I don't know much what to do with the rest of my time. Other than waiting for that one promise of everlasting life, of heaven, that Jesus made possible for us-I don't know what else to dwell on and I need to have dreams, goals, etc and I wish God would-according to his plan- make some come true. Life is hard! I'm going to listen to more of your messages. Thanks for this one! It was great!

It has been awhile. I wish I had more time to make my typical videos for this channel. But the editing is so time-consuming so I've been focusing more on writing on my blog.
