you are a macaron magician! I have been so disappointed with my attempts at aquafaba macs (using my own homemade aquafaba), but I will try using it straight from the can. You have given me hope that I can perfect vegan macs one day!
If i make these ahead of time will the jam affect the texture of the shells? I'm worried it will make the soggy. I plan to make then 2 days in advance.
Made these today unfortunately they were super hollow and the buttercream was incredibly runny no matter how much extra powder sugar/cornstarch I put in. So sad. I'll definitely be trying the shells again though.
did you use room temperature butter? also for the hollow shells try to mix as little as possible in the macaronage stage but still obtaining the flowing consistency. I used to get hollows and that's what fixed it for me. Of course when it comes to hollows it could be a big number of reasons.
@@PiesandTacos i totally expected hollows. Hopefully the more i make them the better it gets. I used my butter right out of the fridge. Maybe it's the brand I use because it's a super soft butter even right out of the fridge.
@@mariahgina1224 Ohh I am sorry this happened! I also had to switch my butter brand when making vegan buttercream, the one I used before was super soft and wouldnt work unless I added shortening also, and I am not a fan of shortening. Now I use miyokos, and it works great for buttercream.
@@PiesandTacos thank you for your advice, I will definitely have to see if I can find that brand or something similar!! They macarons taste great, thank you so much for sharing the recipe!!
Hey ! My macaron mixture came out grainy. I used the great value superfine blanched almond flour, do you recommend another brand/ type of almond flour ?
I have tried to make these and can’t seam to get it foamy and stif peaks at the first bit I have no doubt in your recipe any tips for someone who is terrible at baking haha

no, you really really need sugar. many people have tried with different sweeteners, but it doesn't work, you need the sugar for the structure of the cookie, not for the taste.
"before the right consistency for the regular egg white macarons" that's not helping vegans like me who has never done macarons with eggs. Come on, you making a video about VEGAN macarons, give relatable info so that we can understand
if you opt out of making it vegan, what's the alternative way of making the same recipe? what are the measurements for this recipe? I'd love to make it.
Imagine the first person who thought of whipping up chickpea liquid?
haha right!!! what a genius

You can do this! I will also have a troubleshooting post coming out soon that should be helpful :)
Can we use different flour like all purpose flour or oats flour in the same quantity instead of Almond flour in this recipe?
Mam..please shear a No resting macaron.. if it's possible ^_^
Freaking love you.
thank you so much for the recipe💕
GREAT GREAT GREAT video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I made it but it was so sweet and hollowed, is it possible to reduce the sugar?
Sugar can’t really be reduced in macarons because it’s necessary for the macarons to actually work 🤷🏻♀️
You should make macarons with just egg white powder; no egg white
👍👍👍! 🏆
So you have to use almond flour! I am allergic to almonds but I want to make it with a substitute.

I LOVE THIS!!! thank you so much for this video!😊
thank you! so happy you like it :)
I'm from Les Petits Ronds on Instagram. I've used your vegan recipes before and I absolutely love them. Thank you for always being so detailed. 😍💙
If after macaronage the batter is too runny. Can we save it?

Hi! While letting the macarons rest, what is dry to the touch? Is it like until it’s leathery dry or just a thin dry film?
If you touch it it feels dry
Beautiful👍👍👍👍

How long are you whipping? what kind of aquafaba are you using?
Is it possible to make a macaron vegan and nut free?
yes, you can use sunflower seed flour, or all purpose flour
Hey. We don't get vegan butter in our country. How to go about the recipe then?
you can use shortening for the buttercream. Or margarine, most margarines don't contain animal products.
Is it possible to use a hand mixer for this recipe?
for sure!!!
Lovely❤️
Is there a different sugar we can use instead of granulated sugar that you could suggest?
no, you really really need sugar. many people have tried with different sweeteners, but it doesn't work, you need the sugar for the structure of the cookie, not for the taste.
@@PiesandTacos thank you
Love love love this ! How did u make the jam ?
she probably bought the jam from a store
Where can we get aquafaba?
from a can of chickpeas
Hi, can I reduce the amount of sugar that goes in the aquafaba meringue?
no that's not recommended. the sugar is very important for the structure of the macaron
@@PiesandTacos Thank you so much. Also I have one more question, should I preheat the oven before putting the macarons in it?
@@medhavisaboo9292 absolutely, the longer you pre-heat it, the more stable the temperature will be.
What brand of aquafaba are you using?
I use whatever is available at the store, but I prefer Eden.
@@PiesandTacos Thanks! I love your recipes btw.
