It would have been cool if the filling were white or silver 🤩 I almost thought the Macarons didn't have filling because it blended so well with the shells.

yes i let them mature for 1 to 2 days. it is possible to bake macarons with gas oven, lots of people do, you just have to experiment enough with your oven, different settings, baking time, oven rack position, oven temperature, macaron resting time in order to find the sweet spot.

I recommend getting some online. The water will deflate and destabilize the meringue, the macarons may crack, spread out, become porous. It is not recommended at all to use water based food coloring. The water particles will attach to the hydrophilic amino acids in the meringue and will destroy the structure of the meringue, because those amino acids are in place protecting the air bubbles from the meringue from getting in contact with the small amount of water that's already present in the meringue.
I don't think so at all. Find a good brand of food coloring, I recommend americolor or wilton gel. They are concentrated so you shouldn't need too much food coloring to obtain the color, plus they are great brands and don't taste bad at all.
no, but it depends. I am able to obtain from 40 to 50 shells, sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on the consistency of the batter and how big you pipe them.
I really really really wish that I can at least eat just one macaron, I've never made the the right way, and the ones from the store taste SO artificial for some reason. You are Lucky😔

no you cant. only gel or powder food coloring. oils break up the protein bonds that form the structure of the meringue.
