I'm learning so much from your videos! It's a fantastic resource! I am a city clerk for a very small rural town. Our budget is very small and limits how much we can do for maintenance of our city buildings and severely curtails what we can do for our residents. Since we have a small budget it's difficult for us to qualify for many federal grants because we can't meet the matching funds portion that is often required. I'd love to learn where a small municipality like ours can find grants that may or may not be outside the federal grant system. Any ideas that could help??

My first response to your question is to see what kinds of state or county government resources are available for the expenses you mentioned. That would hopefully reduce some of that matching fund burden. However, I'd like to dig into this some more. I'm working this week on the Q1 2023 production schedule, and I'll add this topic to the list of videos. Sorry that a more detailed answer is delayed, but I hope to have more to offer after some time in research.

Love your videos! Do you have any info on grants for documentaries? We are also a 501c3, so the donors will get a tax deduction and possible screen credit. This film will be in production in February and I need to start the funding process. Would love to tell you more about it over a chat if possible. It’s a very compelling and inspiring story! Hi Tiffany, the company I just started working for needs a grant. I'm having a hard time finding grants for what we need. I 'm searching on the grants government website but have only found 2. Could you point me in the right direction as to how to possibly find more.

Thank you for asking, but at this time I work full-time for an organization, in addition to running the channel, so I do not have the ability to take on extra work. @cookieward2611 I have three resources in mind that I hope can help: (1) Call the free phone number 211, which has operators who can connect you to local resources. (2) You can also try www.benefits.gov/ which is a questionnaire to find benefits you're eligible for.
