thank you for this ...employee volunteer program reminded me that I offered this labor when working for a startup years ago, it was fun, fullfilling and exhausting sweat equity! Thanks for reminding me, that is likely what we were engaging in. If you are approaching an organization to be a non profit sponsor and and they request your form or likewise , what are you expected to present to them?
Each corporation will have the required forms spelled out. For a nonprofit, they usually mean the IRS letter of determination, which proves nonprofit status. If you need a copy, you can google obtaining-copies-of-exemption-determination-letter-from-irs to get the IRS website and instructions.

Hi, I'm still looking for a position as an entry-level grant writer. You've given me a few pointers before, but I'm wondering if you have any more suggestions for me in terms of where to continue to look. Folks keep telling me that there are plenty of grant writing opportunities out there, but I'm not coming up with any takers. What should my next move be?
Thanks for your persistence! One of my videos on careers in grants has a list of links in the description below to national grant professional organizations. Each of those organizations has their own searchable jobs database. They can provide a lot of good information about what employers want, and a lot of them list salary ranges. My local nonprofit gave me zero help. I went to my Congressman Office to ask to be advised of any federal grant to help out. Was told they do not do that, not their duty! I have no working phone, no car, am now with neck, walking difficulties! Why is there no help in SDiego , California? I also went to another county office of that same nonprofit that did not help having found out they had roofing program but was told out of their area. No exceptions made to help in emergency capacity. This is cruelty! They had just gotten a large sum of monies to do repairs. It was Sorrento Valley I believe. I am devastated. And my belief is that condemnation is what is being sought when 400 sq ft roof caves! 73, and being prohibited to live what life I may have left in my home that I had struggled years ago to keep current! Had no husband, no pension, no children. Edit: Silicon Valley correction might be rather than Sorrento Valley.
There is a relatively new website that might list additional resources for you. It’s findhelp.org. Free to use, based on your zip code. No private information needed.
