@@anthonycochren2513 Also arbiters grounds vibes from twilight princess. Not only cause arbiters grounds is in the desert and has similar style architecture, but the arbiters grounds also has gibdos. @@swigglyforce5215I would even say there are some skyward sword vibes as well. I was wondering how Ascend could be used to cheese dungeons. But Nintendo is so smart. It’s literally the most perfect design making this thing a pyramid, you gotta be careful with ascend otherwise you are just gonna be popping out the top.

The lighting temple to me was the one that felt most like a “Zelda Dungeon™” , that traditional temple vibe. The architecture, the traps, the puzzle design, the general vibe. I wish the other temples in this game were more like this, they felt more like glorified divine beasts. Fire temple a close second. I loved the wind temple for the music and boss fight, but the design and puzzle solving was just like a divine beast. Lightning temple by far the best.
@@AlfonsoSRTi kind of felt the same way with wind temple. But you've got to admit that its music, ambience, build-up, design and COLGERA are quite the step up from the divine beasts. I think it's the layout that felt similar to the divine beasts.
It kinda sucks that Water and Wind Temples are so derivative of the Divine Beasts and didn't take advantage of what made them good in the first place, which was moving around massive pieces of the dungeon. Maybe the wind temple couldve required activating vertical wind gusts in some places, water temple could change the strength of gravity around you, etc.
Having learned from my "mistake" in BotW, I came to the Gerudo Desert first because I wanted all those shiny accessories. Then, I found out that I would have to do the entire main quest here. Riju basically carried me through the temple because there were enemies in here that could just one-shot me.
This was probably the only dungeon that really have a unique challenge. The others were mainly about navigating to the terminal system with barely any challenging puzzles whereas this one you have to put more effort in unlocking each terminal. The fact it’s a pyramid too adds to the dungeon feel. Loved the entire Gerudo main quest
I know the fact that it’s a pyramid wasn’t that big of a deal. But when I saw that thing rise and got to go through all of the booby traps, that just made perfect sense and was a perfect addition to the Gerudo region.
Phase 4 is undoubtedly the best one of the bunch, but I also love phase 1 as well. Specifically, the part at 1:38 gives you the feeling that even though you activated the 1st battery, finding the rest of them won't be that easy.
