Great video! You picked up on some things I didn't touch on. Very good points. I will agree that testing it in the winter was a challenge. I was fortunate to get a day that was above freezing. I'm also looking forward to using it this summer.
Great video and thanks for braving the cold for this demo! Question: does the tent not close in the back? I see a mesh screen that opens and then the canopy, I guess, could drape over the back door. But does it not have a solid closure in the back?
I really admire the fact that you got to capture such beautiful footage in the snow, and the product you showcased is quite intriguing! I'm conducting my own research to gain further insights about this product for my personal deliberations.
Yes you can. You can also pull away from it while it’s still together and attach a side piece to it so it’s a free standing tent that’s not connected to the car.
Just a warning. We got the inflatable one and did not receive the pump and the customer service is horrible. After many attempts of communication we were told they would send us one. After 4 weeks I have tried to contact them through phone, chat, and email with absolutely no response.
@@Stephielifts I'd be curious if running a fan out the back of it would help. Sorry to keep bothering you but do you close the trunk at night when sleeping?
Awesome job. Just bought a Y over a month ago and have order in for the Tentsla. Have watched several of your videos and your awesome!

It was 20 degrees for me. Super cold! Looking forward to your videos using it this summer. See you around! 😉
@@Stephielifts Yikes! Too cold for me. I’m ready for spring.
@@Stephielifts At 20 degrees if you had the heat on full blast do you believe it could reach at least 60 degrees in the tent?

you did a great job, keep it up. :)
Thank you!!
they could do with providing chocks you can drive up onto and they have loops you can tie the ropes to. No need to hammer into the ground.
Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.
@@Stephielifts Your video appeared in a Facebook ad for the brand. Wow, that's awesome!
Haha! Facebook knows everything. Very cool though! I guess that makes me famous now. 😆
@@Stephielifts Excellent! 😀
awesome,going to get one
Great job! Can you share a link for the interior shades/covers you referenced in the video?
Great video! Have you camped overnight with it with the heater on? How much does it affect the battery?
I have not. Only with the air condition in the summer. With that, it takes about 1% an hour. I assume it would be about the same with the heat.
Looks pretty cool
Definitely is!
Could you tie the two back door rope together inside the car and close the back door?
With the tent attached are you able to close the trunk? I am thinking about weather extremes where you would like to limit the ac to the cabin.

Hey! Will the tesla AC/Heat keep the tent cold/hot?
Not enough to rely on. It does help a tad though but not a lot.

I do close the back when I sleep.
@@Stephielifts thankyou! 😁
