@@SeniorSusieStamps why are we always so critical of our own work? We just have to remember, it's paper, only paper and we can almost always make adjustments. Have a wonderful day. 😊
Oh you are just so sweet! I am up in my studio talking and giggling to myself just like you all are right there with me. Sometimes my husband comes in and says "Who are you talking to?!" Have a happy crafting day and come back soon!!
Hi from Oregon Julia. I think both card are fantastic, by I actually liked the cloud formation on the second card best. I'll have to give it a try. As always thanks for spending time in our homes through the internet.
HI Nora - I know you will have success - Just don't overthink it and put too much ink down. Oh - and use your stamp platform. I had brainfade on my first card and you saw what happened! Have a wonderful day and come back soon!
Hi Julia, I was so excited to see this video. I have bought cloud and hill stencils, but as yet haven't used them because they are for my birthday which is tomorrow. I am now very keen to get to use them, however like you I could have made my own from scrap cardstock. I thought it was a clever idea to use a page out of an old book, and once you give it a random coat of something like gesso so you can still see a little of the print is quite effective especially the end result. I think I am going to have a lot of fun with my stencils, and some home made ones as well adding a bit of variety. Thank you Julia for sharing your creative process which has resulted in some beautiful cards. God's richest blessings to you, and as always happy crafting! 🥰🌼💖
Oh - Happiest of Birthdays to You Gloria! I hope tomorrow is the start of a Wonder Filled year and many Blessings! Let me hear how you do with your new stencils - Remember to not overthink it!!
@@SeniorSusieStamps Hi Julia, my birthday was very quiet only me, but I had a lovely day. This is my first birthday without my husband, and it is a little sad. Over the past few months I purchased some craft items, and when they arrived I put them straight into a gift bag including the cloud stencil. All these craft goodies were from my husband, and therefore making my birthday special otherwise it would be 'just another day'. I was so excited to try out the cloud stencil especially after watching your video, and it was such fun!!! It really makes the sky interesting compared to having a plain blue sky which can be a little boring. My new cloud and hill stencils are going to get a work out as I play around with them. Have a blessed day, hugs from Gloria 😊☕🍰🌻💖
@@gloriaonesimus6244 I'm glad you had such a wonderful gift idea - it is so important to take good care of yourself. Please know I keep you in my prayers and hope this year brings you Joy and Peace. Did you feel that? It was a big hug from me!!
Pretty, pretty! I will give this a go. Have to ask, though, about your soaker box. Pardon if you've explained in other videos -- must've been one i missed! Is it just a bowl of plain water, no additives, for stencils only? When using water based inks? Just curious. I always carry my ink filled items to the sink after. Could be why they're all stained....
Hi Diana - I got some covered boxes from $Tree that I use one to soak and one to store my stencils. I usually put a drop of dish soap in the water - not enough to foam, but just to work as an emulsifier. There is a video that shows the box here - ruclips.net/video/IZ-B7eNdIFY/видео.html
Julia, I love to watch you create your cards. These two are both womderful. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Thank you - I used to be so intimidated with clouds until I started doing them this way.

How fun Julia...these cards are really natural and oh so pretty!
Thank you Betty - Clouds are just fun aren't they?
Thank you Julia! Loved watching you today ❤
Hi Betty - Clouds are always fun to make! And a piece of torn paper works every bit as well as a stencil. Just keep working it a little bit at a time.
Love these cards. Think they would make lovely sympathy cards as well.
They absolutely would Susan! Clouds are always so peaceful don't you think?
Great cards!! Clouds and hillsides look pretty. Love the tree!
Thanks so much Paula! These were some peaceful cards...I wanted to go there!!
You worked it out, Julia, so the cards look good! I love your little chuckle! ❤️🇨🇦

Hi Roxanne - Clouds are pretty easy, just don't overthink it. Remember you can always add more ink, but it's hard to take it away LOL!!
I'm going to make myself a cloud stencil. Thanks for sharing😊
Good for you Frances! It make take some practice. Use a gentle hand and lots of different layers. You will do well!!
Your clouds are beautiful.
Thanks Candace and Welcome to my channel. I really think the key is not to overthink it and not to overdo it. Happy Crafting and come back soon!
I will give this a try and hopefully my cards will turn out as pretty as yours. Will be waiting for whatever you post next.

I need to find my cloud stencil and use it. Hopefully my cards will turn out as pretty as yourx!
Hi Roxanne - I really don't think you can mess up clouds too much. Just start with a light hand and add as much color as you want.
Awesome
Thanks Julie - That is such an enjoyable process!
