    So the tool you were using is called a sieve. 😁 A sifter has a mechanical mechanism for shaking the flour into the bowl. As for Max using the A-SALT-Gun close to your steak... a little extra salt never hurt anyone 🤣 As for the term "mozza", when it's used by your people it usually comes in balls 😂. Thanks for another fun episode 😁

    I just love how Sam always has these tiny mishaps like almost dropping a bowl, or burning his hand on the flat top, or having a drill bit take a chunk out of his finger while he's trying to use a power drill to core a pineapple. And they always leave this stuff in the videos. It makes me feel like much less of a screwup when I inevitably do something clumsy in the kitchen.

    The ones that are half sausage with squid ink in the batter are the best, had them in Seattle's chinatown they're fantastic. An important thing this is missing is a spicy version and the various dipping sauces you can get with them. There's also a version where it's rolled in sweet potato chunks and dusted with sugar after it's fried

    yesssss, this looks delicious. And I completely understood mozza/mozz references especially given the context of cheese on a stick. Haven't heard it referred like that before, but I bet a bunch of people use that

    • @nutbastard

      5 years of pizza kitchen experience here, I can confirm we call it mozz for short. Lots of things get shortened when you have to say them 20 times a day. Pepperoni and Jalapenos becomes Pep and Jalps, with the j pronounced as it would be in English. Lots of stuff like that.

    • @nutbastard
      @nutbastard 2 года назад +1

      @@erinwallace4672 Just split a hotdog down the middle and then attach it to the cheese with toothpicks and boom, Bob's yer uncle! Just don't forget to take the toothpicks out after frying. Alternatively, you could cut hotdog and cheese chunks and put em on the stick alternating like a shish kebab. That's a little more simple. I think I'd go that route.
      Even better would be to do mozzarella and maybe like a jalapeno cheddar. The possibilities are endless.

    Made these tonight. Fun easy and gooooooood. I think next time i will throw my prepared sticks (I did cheese and beef franks combined on the same stick) in the freezer for 30 minutes or so before breading and frying. The mozzarella got a little runny, but delicious and super crunchy. Then, with the little extra batter and panko, I rolled it into fritters and fried those then poured on a little maple syrup. Oh my goodness. My wife suggested making the fritters into flat pancakes and then topping with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a splash of the maple syrup. This is why I love her. 🥰Crunchy, slightly salty, sweet and oh so good. Eat my shorts, deep fried ice cream!

These farms were everywhere and they created jobs and kept the countryside alive... now only huge farms can survive, farmer suicides are going through the roof (that's actually a thing!) and only banks, lawyers and politicians are benefiting!
