  • Casa HPZ is a sustainable and nature-inspired house built in Brazil during the pandemic. Designed for family gatherings and connection with nature, the house prioritizes leisure areas and uses eco-friendly materials.
The house uses Glulam wood, a renewable and low-waste material, for its structure. To further minimize environmental impact, concrete use is limited. Natural ventilation is achieved through large openings and a smart roof design with generous eaves. The house also features a suspended deck near the pool that eliminates the need for disruptive construction and a sauna built into the natural slope of the land.
The interior design is light and airy, with a neutral porcelain tile floor and a Peroba Mica wood ceiling. A suspended fireplace acts as a centerpiece, separating the living and TV rooms. Clean-lined contemporary furniture with light fabrics and natural wood completes the inviting and comfortable atmosphere.
