What a great video…ordering my CRF300 rally next week and already looking at kitting myself out in your kit. Well endorsed by the Lightweight Adventurers, so must be good. Keep up the excellent work. 👏👏👏
Hi Thomas, the linesman pant is designed to fit comfortably over Adventure Boots. The large lower leg zip makes it east to put on and take off, and a tough buckle secures the pants once the zip is closed, thanks
This evening is dedicated to view this! Thanks for sharing this in forehand to us interested in Your new gear range. Hope to get my hands on the Supershirt, I need new protection and Yours looks what ticks the boxes for this summer trip on the Norwegian and Swedish TET. 👍
@@x_Paulo_Nogueira_x Yes! I ordered one immediately. Look forward to get a new protective layer for my summer adv trip! Like it to breathe maximum and to ditch the separate back protection I use today. Looks very competitive to the Knox Urban. Pro Mk II. Cool that You are on the train as well 🙌
@@Braapncamp im just buying it to support Greg and see if he gets a new PR7 😂 Im jooking ofc 😇 I do have high hopes on the SS, loved the technical details and info so far, and i urgent need something that also sort of protect me on tarmac. @@adventurespec ok so will I be able to use my leatt knee braces under the linesman pants? I'm really getting swayed more towards your gear rather than mosko or Revit.
This makes sense, I just find it hard to change from what I've always done... once I have a bit of dosh I feel like I need to get a base layer, armour suit, warm layer, vented layer and water proof cover.... let's see where it fits in with AS stuff.... Edit... lots of food for thought there. Thank you
Hi, congratulations on this very informative video. I have been using the Linesman jacket, the Baltic Hybrid jacket and the Mongolia trousers for over 1 year. I am very satisfied with the quality of manufacturing, the materials used and the quality of wear. Today the Supershirt, the Trailhouse Shirt and the Alpine Gloves were delivered. When I tried them on, everything fit so far, but the sleeves of the Supershirt are a little long for my height (170 cm) and a little too wide at the waist and neck. I need size L because of my chest measurement, maybe size M would have fit as well, but I'd rather have some reserves than too tight. I will probably also order the Linesman trousers and the Singletrack jacket (waiting for photos of the blue model). But I have to make a subjective criticism here. The colour scheme of the new Linesman jacket and the Linesman trousers are not well chosen. I would have hoped for multi-coloured shades of grey for the trousers, like on the current Singletrack jacket; the blue looks a bit bland and pale. By the way, I also found the colour of the first Singletrack jacket a bit more appealing, but the current one is also very nice. You could take a leaf out of KLIM's book when it comes to colours. I have a Badlands and a Dakar combination.
Hi Herbert, thanks for the feedback. We actually have a new section on the website 'Tell us how to improve our gear' which you might like to paste this comment into: www.adventurespec.com/product-development Thanks
please make a shorts version of the supershirt. padded shorts for hip protection. Alot of dualsport riders use MX pants, problem comes that they are great on the track, they dont inspire confidence on the street. Its hard to find a pair of MX pants with a high density fabric, and even still, they usually have stretch materials on the side/back of the leg, the place where you would slide on pavement (like the crash you showed), having a pair of "super shorts" with CE protection and abrasion resistance would be PERFECT!!!, would give me all the protection I need for the street and track and the freedom to choose any pair of MX pants
Thanks for this feedback Alberto! Can I ask you to drop your thoughts here so it will make its way into out future product dev - www.adventurespec.com/product-development 🙂
Hi there, our riding jackets are all highly abrasion resistant so it’s more about the environment you’ll be experiencing - Is waterproofing needed, or you’ll be in extreme heat etc. Have a look through our jackets here, each page has a write up: www.adventurespec.com/shop/category/clothing-jacket-31
@@adventurespec thanks a lot! I live in the South of Spain so Im looking for the cooler option available. I might go with just the supershirt. Why do you say that it is AA rated if it’s AAA in some sections?
Looking forward to the release of the linesman pant and supershirt. Are you guys going to offer smaller chest protector for the supershirt as it looks a somewhat bulky.
At the moment we just have what's on the website, but we're always updating and changing products. We have a suggestions area as well if you fancy adding this: www.adventurespec.com/product-development
If you haven't already, you should try the Cardo packtalk for your comms. With the mesh system, once connected there is no need for all the faff pairing each ride and after someone has gone out of range. The Packtalks just connect as soon as they are turned on and if they go out of range they just reconnect when back in range. We use them off and on road. If the group are going to change then I would go for the new edge version but the old Bold models still work just fine. It is a shame that most helmet manufacturers have opted to use a Sena units for their built in units but I think it is work fitting the units externally to be able to use the packtalk
Can you think about adding a small zipper pocket at the end of the left arm of the outer/rain layer jackets to hold a credit card? This will make life so much easier to pay the ferry man as well refill the tank at 24/7 unmanned service stations. I'm not talking about once in a while payment but like 3-6 times a day. I'm just back from a 7.654 km ride and I would have loved this feature 💙💛🏁🤛🏼
