First voice line belong to Kindred. Long story short: they are death. Lamb's arrow giving an easy peaceful death, wolf is painfully taking those who refuse. Morgana and Kayle shown in the past, ancient Demacia, when they were protecting people together. Silhouette of the Lamb visible in the flames when Aatrox defeated by sisters. Yasuo is in the future, forced to use power of wind (which never resulted anything good in his life) and a sword to protect the innocent. Notice, that he didn't took any life during the fight. In the end you can see wolf's eyes in the shadows on the horizon, when the arrows falling down. Yas closes his eyes and we see Lamb's arrow flying towards him.
Tryn and Ashe (his wife who saved him) - present. He refuses to die (his ultimate ability in game let him to do so for some amount of time), As he was saved, Lamb put down her bow, so his time to die is yet to come, not today.
And Kindred are "still here".
Those details makes it 10 times more amazing and its impressive how you noticed them
Except aatrox cant die. So thats why its simply a silhouette of Lamb. Aatrox desperately wants to, but because he is darkin he can't, which is why you only see lamb and not wolf.
Also, in the scene with kindred and tryn, its thought that at the same time tryn is fighting kindred hes fighting off the other soldiers. There were 6 surrounding him, and he hits wolf 4 times, with ashe killing the last two.
Where is the silhouette of lamb? I didn't catch that

@@gamerwolf8831yes, aatrox him self cant die, but we are talking about the sword. His body is a vessel that he posses to carry the sword. He is switching his host, because most of them cant hadle the power and the host dies after some time. So we can assume that kindred came for the host not for the aatrox him self. Also you can see the sword dropping and the body disappearing, when kayle used her flames.
Having a professional reactor who legit knows the content of League is so refreshing. Seriously dude, good work. Only thing I wanna say- Go back and watch the end transitions of the first two scenes. Look for Wolf and Lamb. They're there.

It isn't like a heart, it literally IS a heart, the sword is Aatrox, it is living and sentient, the body is just a manifestation of him as he controls the host of the sword, kind of like Venom and All Black the Necrosword from Marvel. Great reaction by the way, Knox.

Fun fact aatrox hates the fact hes imprisoned in his sword so much that he just wants to die but since darkins are immortal he cant even do that so hes going around destroying the world
for context. Tryndamere's ult is undying fury, a gift given to him by aatrox when he was impaled by his blade in battle. so the fight with kindred was actually him fighting those soldiers that were around him at the beginning while also fighting kindred in the death realm. And kindred cocks her head at him because she's actually intrigued by tryndamere's will to not die
I love the idea that Tryn constantly sees Kindred and Wolf during his ult.
As soon as I heard the opening line and new it was Kindred, I knew it was gonna be good. Probably someone already said this, but Kindred is present in every single fight -- "I'm still here" is as much an affirmation of being alive as it is an affirmation of Death (Kindred) being around the corner, waiting. By far, this is my favorite of their cinematics to date.

I thought I hallucinated the scar on his face before the hat fell off and it was clearly Yasuo. I *screamed.*
i mean at first i, among other who know the lore (and didnt read the description xd) thought Doran? then when he wielded the wind i was like Souma? and after seeing the wolf eyes and the lamb arrow it was like nah Souma died with Rivens srowd it cant be him, is that Yasuos future? really?

I knew it was Yasuo instantly, but I was still doubting myself so much until he cut the arrows (great throwback to original champion trailer)
From a lore perspective regarding the tryndamere scene: the fight against the Wolf and Lamb takes place in the death realm.
Tryndamere was on the verge of dying, so the Kindred came to claim his soul, but he refused to die by putting up a fight. When his eyes become red, the darkin blood thats in him (aatrox and tryndamere had a little skirmish in the lore, where tryndamere ended up with aatrox's blood in him and darkin are immortal) made him go in a frenzy not allowing him to die. You can see the confusion in Kindred as well as the Lamb tilts her head.
At the end Kindred lowers her bow, because she sensed that Ashe has come to his rescue so Tryndamere isn't on the verge of death anymore and the Kindred leave. In reality Tryndamere was fighting the enemies that surrounded him at the start of the cinematic, but in his eyes he was fighting the embodiment of death in the League universe.
This also kinda confirms that every time Tryndamere ults in the game, he sees Kindred and fights them.
GOD
The three stories are all tied to Kindred (wolf and lamb). They are like the embodiment of death in league, Lamb (the character with the bow and mask) represents the acceptance of death and Wolf represents the violent struggle against it. The song is Kindred reminding you that they are still there, death is never far away. (and they will always be there, in the past, the present and the future as you can see is also a theme in this video)
(It's Kinded you see in the distance behind Tryndamere in the first scene)
In the scene with Kayle and Morgana (Daughters to the aspect of justice, kinda celestial beeings) fighting Aatrox (a darkin) you can see Kindred in the fire at the end of the scene. (They are probably there for Aatrox's host/body since Aatrox is acctually the sword, could also be the army behind Aatrox, since we know that the three main characters are still alive since this is an event from the past)
The scene with Yasuo (in a future vision) You can in the tree line see Wolf's eyes, but since Yasuo accepted his death Lamb's arrow is the one that took him out.
And lastly Tryndamere at the end defies both Wolf and Lamb, fighting against death, with Lamb then lowering her bow at the end as he is saved by Ashe (his wife).
And also see how it implied that he's the only one seeing wolf and lamb as this fight happens since he is on the brink of death, litterally staring death into it's eyes, and he's acctually in another fight against other humans that you can see Ashe shoot at the end to save him, and you see Kindred dissapear since he is no longer "supposed to die". (Tryndameres ultimate in game is that he kinda gets too angry to die, which is basically whats shown here, but from his perspective.)

@@LunatiqHigh i dont really know the old Aatrox lore if thats what you mean?😅But Tryndameres lore with Aatrox is still canon as far as i know, its just that we now know that every time he's on the brink of death but not dying bc of ability of the darkin blood magic, he have to fight Kindred. Bc he is still "supposed to die" (but he isnt bc he cant) Kindred will be there. (sry if i got anything you meant wrong)
I'd like to recommend Falconshield's This is War series! It has a whole bunch of league lore and is featured as a rap cypher for each region

Dang I’m surprised how much you knew about the league champions. A lot of the league channels didn’t recognize tryndamere or yasuo.
Are they league channels if they didn't recognize them tho? Like yasuo from the start I get it, but from the frame where you see his scar just under his hat onward then you have to recognize it's Yasuo's scar if you claim to run a league channel

@@feedraaaaa From what I've seen most channels knew Tryndamere, but it was Yasuo most weren't sure about. Necrit, for example, wasn't sure it was Yasuo until he analyzed the video after. Many other people who play League a lot also weren't sure it was Yasuo, likely because Riot's never really shown a character aged up like that.

That line “got my heel crushing the snake” gets me emotional every time man. I was never expecting biblical imagery from a riot song and it’s so powerful.

this cinematic has kinda two themes. one is "past, present and possible future" the other is about the lamb and wolf (kindred) I.E. death or runeterras grim reaper (get it "i'm still here" death is always there). in all three scene kindred is in all. in the flames when aatrox gets hit. the wolf is the shadow when the volley of comes at yasuo and thats kindreds arrow you see and of corse tryndamere is fighting kindred at the end. theres so much more but ill stop there. if you want a full break down go to the lore king necrit.
It’s a very cool visual that we get that every time Tryndamere ults, he fights off Kindred, who is basically Death personified.
I've discovered you the time you react to the "the call" from league, but man the way you feel and discribe what's going on those cinematics is just soooo interesting and relevant! Im been following you for a few years now because of your league reactions, and honestly I forgot you know league champions and was surprised when you called them out.
I pulled up the video before watching this, and even then, it brought tears to my eyes. The whole message of "I'm still here," along with the theme of pushing through adversity is very significant to me. I've been through a lot over the last few years. Over the last decade, honestly (though, it was one of those 'if you put a lobster in a pot of cold water and raise the temperature, they won't notice until it is too late' kind of decades). But I've survived it and I'm moving on from all of that, and in the last year, as I've been focusing on rebuilding myself, this whole message of "I may be beaten down and tired, but I am still here despite all of that" is very much frontmost in my brain.
But, apparently, this one is a fully canon cinematic from League, and it is filled to the brim with lore deep cuts. I actually watched a video from Necrit going over the lore in it. I knew... next to none of the lore going into this, but one thing is that the character with the round glowing eyes and the wolf are, fundamentally, this world's embodiment of death, and they show up in each of the three scenes. In the one with the 'valkyries,' as you called them, it doesn't step in because that great demon isn't able to die. In the middle story, you see the wolf as the arrows are flying up to come down on the samurai character (who is the guy with the wind powers, just decades later than the in-game present), and the one that comes straight for him is the same kind of glowing arrow that we see the death archer firing in the last scene, implying that this is his death years later. Most interestingly, the scene implies that he's at a point in life where he has forsaken killing - none of the bandits that he fights are killed. Even the leader, who he blasts with the wind... it seems as though he is knocking him away from the rain of arrows. And the last scene is a character... having a kind of near-death experience, with some of the implications being that he isn't actually fighting death, but rather the warriors who were surrounding him in the first place. Phenomenal storytelling all around!

Past, future, present. And you can see how timeless death is from Lamb and Wolf (Kindrid) at the end of the first 2 scenes from and you can see Kindrid foreshadowing in the flame from Kayles E and and the arrow that from Yasuos death

Yo Knox, firstly, I love your reactions man, the way you talk about it and break things down. But I have watched all your league related videos (and others of course), and from when you first started this league journey, I do not know if you started playing league or if you just took the time to learn the characters, but I highly respect how you recognize the characters immediately. Your reactions alone brought me to your music which is epic. Big fan. You have earned my respect.
The cinematic is about The Past, The Present and The Future.
The Past is of Kayle and Morgana, before they decided to go their separate ways of dealing with justice. It also explains how Aatrox already knows them despite not knowing Demacia itself, simply cuz at the time Demacia wasn't Demacia yet.
The Future is of Yasuo, fighting one last time when lonia got invaded again and at the end the invaders kill him while Yasuo accepting the arrow of the Lamb (Kindred).
The Present is of Tryndamere, and his non acceptance of death, both by the Wolf and the Lamb, due to his partial anger fueled blood magic. Every time he ults (undying rage) he sees the actual death - Kindred, instead of his enemies.

Knox i had hoped u would catch the symbol of what Kindred meant. Kindread IS Death ITSELF, it shows death coming for the deathless warrior (tryndamere's ultimate skill is Unending Rage, for 4 seconds tryndamere cannot fall below 1 hp). So for "still here" death was coming for him as he fought those warriors until ashe came to save him

The cool thing about this cinematic is that it confirms what really happens when Tryndamere enters his Undying Rage. He's fighting off Kingdred. Tryndamere in his ult has to make a stand against Death itself.

The sheer lore in this video is massive
I will never not tear up at the ending. Tryndamere is lost to his bloodlust and rage, and it’s the only thing keeping him alive, he’s not fighting to survive, he’s fighting the literal embodiment of death itself. We don’t know if it’s something he truly sees, if it’s a metaphor or if every time he “ults” in canon the man does battle with death itself. And the way kindred gently lowers her bow, knowing he was saved and therefore wouldn’t die, only to be replaced by Ashe, the embodiment of death replaced by the love of his life who just saved him. The arrows of the reaper become the arrows of his love saving him. And how he softens, the red leaves his eyes, the rage dissipates and he falls into the arms of Ashe. Fuck me what a moment.
Kindred is my favorite grim reaper in any mythology bruh... her and wolf are just so badass.

I cant help that feel the song is "literarily" about getting bit by a venomous snake and waiting to die.
The shot of Tryndamere's eyes returning to their original color, as the rage in him dies down, is probably one of the most emotional scenes in any League cinematic ever.
Tryndamere's whole thing is being so god damn angry that not even Death itself can claim him. And the second he turns in Lamb's direction and see's her fade away, revealing that his wife has come to rescue him and save him from death, the rage in his eyes immediately subsides and turns into relief.
I have literally never cared for Ashe or Trynd in all the years I've played League. I don't play them, I'm not a big fan of their stories, nothing. But between the animation quality, the storytelling, and the emotion behind it all, that scene is easily my favorite in any cinematic Riot has ever made.
I also love how Tryndamere keeps looking at Ashe for a second or two even after she turns around

That's how you know a league cinematic is done right, when it motivates and inspires you to do things.
I had to watch it twice to get all the context.
The entire cinematic shows that Kindred is basically the Grim Reaper of the League universe, as they appeared in every scene in some way.
There's tons of other details as well.
When Morgana discarded her helmet and sword before binding herself to the Earth to ensnare Aatrox, despite Morgana doing it to protect others, Kayle is absolutely disgusted by her actions and you can see the disdain in her face when she walks by her to finish Aatrox off. Lamb also appears in the flames, no doubt there to claim the host body he had taken over. Aatrox is the sword and the body is merely a manifestation of the power.
In Yasuo's scene, I genuinely thought it was his master but once I saw the scar, I knew it was him. Yasuo tried to use his power to protect the innocent and he tried not to kill anyone, but in his old age, he didnt have much time left. We can even see Wolf's eyes in the shadows, and its Lamb's arrow that comes for Yasuo at the end, and he accepts it.
Finally, Tryndamere's ultimate in game means he can't die for a short time. This is the result of blood magic, and it seems that everytime he uses that ability, he has to fight off Kindred to keep his soul in addition to fighting all of his real enemies.
If Ashe didn't arrive, Kindred would've continued but once she did, Kindred backed off because it simply wasn't his time to die.
