Great video! I love the Nicron N7, it’s one of my favorite lights, crazy versatile. And you said it man, this thing was made to live in a vehicle. I have one in each of my vehicles, and a few more around the house. Thanks for sharing!
Just got mine and am astounded by what one gets for such little dough. Btw, I like it when they don't put much money into packaging. P.S. Mine has a memory so it comes on at the output that was running when it was turned off.
I have 2 great lights a surefire and a thrunite catapult v6 besides that i own all $40 or less lights i let the kids use when we are camping. Great video👍
Very nice light especially for the price. 14 dollars for high, low, strobe, and SOS. I like the fact it comes on in high mode. I would also have to get charger and 14 whatever they were batteries. Just about all I have are 18650. Thanks for showing it. It appears to be a good light at very little cost.
@Richard Davis its ok my typing always sucks! Then put dyslectic on it I am terrible! But it never stops me, just like my spoken English not the best either!
For a backup edc flashlight, i think the Streamlight 88061 ProTac 1L-1AA 350-Lumen Dual Fuel is a great way to go! it can use three different batteries for use; C123, AA & AAA size.
I ordered one of these yesterday and paid express shipping to get it by Wednesday next week from OS. I was happy to pay the shipping because even at that total price, it is still cheaper in cost than other more well-known brands. @@BigRedEDC I also bought a Speras T1 from a local supplier earlier this week because it on special for under a hundred Aussie dollars. Probably about 70US I'd guess. They're a brilliant long throw light.
@@BigRedEDC Oh, the local supplier throws in another 2 3500m/Ah 18650s, so you get 2 micro usb rechargeable 3400m/Ah batteries in the kit, plus the other two. Not a bad deal, but I did buy a charger for the batteries as well because it seems most decent flashlights/torches use them nowadays.
Hi BigRedEDC have you tried the newer model N7? The N7 is above the magnet 🧲 logo and not above the tailcap. Also it has a glowing green O ring on the head and you have to press and hold for 2 Seconds to turn it off and on.
BigRedEDC Just did an unboxing my relative let me do it on his he bought the package came at 29 dollars includes the N7+Headband+Holster ruclips.net/video/qnQgB43wcgM/видео.html
Yeah that's the one I have, it glows around the lens, and the UI is a little different from the older one, the newer model you press and hold for the light to come on, helps it from accidentally being turned on in a pocket, I really really like this little flashlight, and running a 14500 cell this little light becomes a beast, awesome flashlight
@@BigRedEDC hmm sounds good I like the evolution of the flash lights when I was a teenager it was all about mag lights , tech has sure came a long way since then, curious what is your favorite brand of flashlight !
I have one and it says it will run on a 14500. Mine does not? And does anyone know the difference between protected and un protected? Also if you turn it off on low it will come back on low I found out
You probably have the newest model, does it have a glowing ring around the lens after you turn off the light, and to turn it on do you press and hold, the new model is slightly different, but better imo, the long press for on prevents accidental pocket activation, and the glowing ring helps you find it if dropped in the dark, really cool flashlight, and holy crap running this little thing on a 14500 cell makes it really come alive
