No the pet did NOT put him in combat afterwards, he just stood up. There are many times where I will be fighting with my pet and FD and just let my pet die. Your pet being out and fighting doesn't put you back in combat if you've Feign'd. He was stupid and stood back up after Feigning
He was in combat, it's just that being in combat in feign doesn't matter. Feign isn't like vanish, the mobs will ignore you on a successful feign even if you're in combat.

When he does Feign the patrol leaves him and resets so he was clearly out of combat at that point. Then they see his pet and attack it, unless they have a cleave or any other form of aoe damage he should remain out of combat and they just kill the pet and reset and then move on, at least that how it was for my hunter when I ran into situations like this, but sure it was classic and not hc.

Emiru gets destroyed and panics in every situation because she gets carried 3/4 of the time during leveling and as such never actually learns the game.

Also you always want to go in and melee ranged the other stuff follows and you cleave, as a ranged player there's nothing worse than a fast opponent who keeps picking on me when I want to 2v1 him with my pet. The next scene, raptor is a very tempting pet to use when soloing but it's niche against mobs with self-heal. An owl or vulture with screech very tough against multiple oponents when soloing it debuffs everything nearby. It probably wasn't control of the pet but the pet just isn't able to hold aggro. The guides tell you not to spend the gold training track humanoid etc but when soloing I really like to be able to put enemies on the minimap and know at a glance what is popping up nearby.
HUNTERS!! You need to practice jumping, spinning 180, wing-cliping, and spinning back 180 before you hit the ground. This is an essential part of running and living as a hunter.....
Why does every single hunter break their feign? Pika woulda been fine, it's marks you in combat when they attack the pet, but once he dies you get ooc, unless they leash you with an AOE ability.
Hunter in Stonetalon wasn't that bad for a new player that clicks. She was distracted yapping when it hit the fan, but then kept it cool: managed the pet, feared, disengaged, etc. She was very clumsy, but with keybinds and a bit of practice she'd do much better than most of her peers
If u click any button at all your bad sorry😂 even your food and water should be keybinded. Even your light of elune should be keybinded. Even your petri should be keybinded. You have literally 100 open keybinds if you use ctrl shift and alt as modifers. 🤭
