So many beautiful pieces Sally. Love to see all your progress. Like you iv absolutely loved stitching on my long dog. Definitely notice alot more, than I first noticed during stitching on it 😊❤
Thank you so much Alison. Yeah it’s just making me miserable. X-ray was clear but did mention one thing that freaked me out but GP isn’t concerned. Going down the reflux route now! I just want something to work! Happy stitching 😊
Beautiful project pieces Sally, you're a whizz! That cough would drive anybody daft. Let's hope it clears up soon. My Mum used to say a change in the weather will get rid of thickly coughs, so let's hope the weather changes soon. It has been wet and damp for months. Sending positive vibes your way, happy stitching.
Thank you so much Linda. I really hope that a change in the weather will make a difference. I’ve been to the doctor every month this year and keep hoping that something they give me will help! Happy stitching 😊
Love your finishes and those new starts, Sally 💙🙃 While watching your video I finished my Teresa Kogut Easter piece! 🙂🪡Hoping you will, soon have an answer about your lingering cough!! Stitch all you can and take good care!
Thank you so much Sharon. I am so behind on floss tubes that I haven’t caught up with you yet. Maybe today or tomorrow! Hope that you are well. Happy stitching 😊
Thank you so much Hannah. Yeah so fed up of this flaming cough. I’m hoping that once my X-ray results come back they might give me something. Take care. Happy stitching 😊
Sally I'm so surprised you haven't heard anything back from your X-ray. This cough really doesn't want to leave you. I hope they figure out what's causing this. Beautiful finishes, wips and new starts. Take care of yourself and enjoy your Stitching time. ❤
Thank you so much Ruth. My X-ray is supposed to come back in a week to 10 days so I’m going to ring tomorrow. I do have an app on my phone but there’s nothing on that as yet. I keep checking. Happy stitching my friend. Take care. 😊
Gosh your cough - I really feel for you! So frustrating that they can’t give you something for it!! Anyway - great to catch up and see your finishes and progress. Let me know when you’re starting button box and I’ll join you!!
Thank you Jenny. I’m hoping that once my X-ray comes back they might give me something. I’m so fed up with it. It’ll be a while before I start the button box but I’ll definitely let you know. Happy stitching 😊
Try vitamin d for the immune system and vitamin c for the cough/cold. Sambucol cough medicine helps if it is viral, as for the tickly cough I always use orange squash with lemonade, it seems to help coat the throat. I have been off work for a week myself with a bad chest infection and these have helped. Now drinking green tea!! Plenty of rest and stitching 😊. Hope you are better soon. ❤. Love all your stitching.
Finally I’m getting to comment. I was so far behind on all my favourite flosstubers so I have downloaded them and am trying to get caught up! I have binge watched you from your last December video right up to date. You can’t comment on a downloaded video. I was trying to match up finishing pieces for projects so you kept me company! You have had some amazing finishes and starts in the last 4 months and I loved seeing them all. I am ashamed to say my Barbara Ana fell by the wayside but I have it out to work on tomorrow! I stitched Flights of Angels in blue last year and that was one of the pieces I was looking for fabric to finish. I have about 60 things to finish! It’s not my favourite part but I framed 4 pieces today and have 20 cushions/pillows ready to sew tomorrow. Really hoping you get an answer soon pore your cough. My brother, who is in Cheshire, told me there was a 100 day cough going round. Luckily it hasn’t reached Zambia. Thanks again Sally for sharing everything and I am happy to be caught up. Wow, what a ramble. Happy stitching.
Thank you so much Sue. I am terrible at getting finishes done. I need to be enthusiastic about it 😂. Yes I’ve heard about the 100 day cough and I did wonder if I had that but I’m past 100 days. Someone did mention a 20 week cough though! Take care. Happy stitching 😊
Im trying to catch up too Sally! Im so sorry you still have this cough, fingers crossed the xray reveals something they can do to fix it! Beautiful stitching as always, take care, Jen x
Thank you so much. Hope you have fun finishing the blue house Pinkeep drum. I’m kind of dreading finishing my drum with it being a biggie! Happy stitching 😊
I think stitching larger pieces for your 6 for 60 was a good idea, as in the time it takes you to finish them, you do not start new projects 😄 Thank you for filming, I enjoyed watching very much 😍Happy stitching 🪡🧵🥰
Thank you so much Dawn. I’ve been desperate for some new starts but can’t be bothered to kit stuff up 😂. I need to push myself to do it! Happy stitching my friend. Take care 😊
You’ve been a busy bee all those beautiful finishes. I was hoping to start my birthday stitch today (68 🎉) but the fabric I’m considering I’m still waiting for from chromatic alchemy. I ordered it the beginning of March but it’s still not here ,😢. That cough must be really draining bless you, surely it can’t go on for much longer. The mug is really pretty. Have a good week lovely 😊
Sally I really empathise with you. I have had a chesty cough since October 2022 that is still being investigated. In addition to an X-ray I have had 2 MRI scans (am currently waiting for the results of the 2nd one) and also a lung function test all to no avail. I really hope you get it sorted soon xx
Thank you so much Debra. I hope you get to the bottom of what is causing your cough soon. It’s so frustrating when things don’t help and you just want rid of it. Take care. Happy stitching 😊
I had the same thought about the button box but I don’t think our works had any of the boxes left. Might try and go back before our store shuts also 😢. Thanks for sharing
Hi Sally! Lovely to see all your stitches as always. Did you know that Caterpillar Cross Stitch are doing a Taylor Swift series of stitches? Maybe a booklet? Can’t be quite sure, but you should check it out for you and your daughter. Blue Bird Sampler is in my plans for first week of June start and I’ve made a note that Dream of a Winter Garden is a new start for us in 2025😉 Let me know when you get the chart and we can sort out dates and maybe encourage others to join us next year. Obviously, no immediate rush 😁
Thank you so much Sarah. Yes I’ve been following Sally’s posts about the Taylor Swift booklet and keep showing Abi the sneak peaks etc! I’ll be ready to start the Bluebird Sampler with you in June. I’m going to use a Roxy floss that Sally sent me for my birthday. I’ll definitely let you know when I get the MFE chart. Happy stitching 😊
Looking forward to starting Frosty Tiny Town and Winter Wonderland laster this year. I've just looked up Dream of a Winter Garden (is that the MFE one?) and i love that one too!! I do hope your cough starts to improve soon xxx
I’m looking forward to stitching them too Sally. Yes that’s the MFE one that I couldn’t remember! I might get the threads for it but not 100% sure. I really wish this cough would go! I’m so tired of it. There seems to be a lot of people who have it. Take care. Happy stitching 😊
Lovely stitching, your finishes look fab. I hope Abbie can find something she's happy with, stick with the devil you know for now but keep looking for others at the same time. I've got a similar cough, since having a really bad cold.months ago I like you get the tickles in the throat, the night is the worst for me. I take corvonia which sometimes works and I chew on gum. Have you asked the doctor to see if you have a postnasal drip I think it's called, my mum has a cough like you as well and hers has turned out to be a postnasal drip which apparently she'll always have but does have a treatment for it. I can't remember what the doctors gave her though
Thank you so much Danielle. Abi’s really feeling it as today is their last day trading and even though she’s not at work today it just feels strange. She has to go in 3 days next week to get everything that is left packed up then that’s it until she starts at the store within the garden centre. I’m just hoping that my cough disappears soon and I hope yours does too. I’m starting to think that it will never go. The doctor did try a nasal spray for post nasal drip but it didn’t help. They’re now trying stuff for reflux. I’m trying to think positive but it’s getting harder to do that. Mine also started when I had cold. Happy stitching 😊
Thank you Sally for sharing your projects hope your cough gets better soon 😊
Thank you so much Esther. Happy stitching 😊
So many beautiful pieces Sally. Love to see all your progress.
Like you iv absolutely loved stitching on my long dog. Definitely notice alot more, than I first noticed during stitching on it 😊❤
Thank you so much Liz. I don’t think this will be my only Long Dog. I definitely would like to stitch more. Happy stitching 😊
Gorgeous finishes Sally. Hope you get some relief from your wretched cough soon - it must be driving you absolutely bonkers!
Thank you so much Alison. Yeah it’s just making me miserable. X-ray was clear but did mention one thing that freaked me out but GP isn’t concerned. Going down the reflux route now! I just want something to work! Happy stitching 😊

Quick visit to ask if you have seen/stiched Country cottage neddleworks Sheep in the meadow? I'll be back later. Stay safe🤗
Hi Angela, hope you are well. I have seen Sheep in the Meadow but not stitched it. Take care. Happy stitching 😊xx
When are you starting button box by blackbird?
Not sure. It won’t be for a while I don’t think but I’ll let you know 😊
