great song, thanks for uploading, 80zforever brought me here..
I love finding gems like this on YT. There were some great Aussie bands back in the day.
Takes me back to the summer of 83 / 84 at Wilsons Prom. A classic from 1983.
like turning a page in a book and being transported back to the 80s like it was just yesterday.
This is an awsome song. Haunting, mysterious and a song in my opinion that will never date.
perthwogboy 11 years later still listening and you are still right !!
This is truly a gem! Greetings from Brazil!
one of the best aussie bands around
Omg!!!ive finally found it..
It brings back childhood memories❤
I've been searching for this song for 5 years, at last found it 🍻
Amazing song.
Great old song from our brothers from downunder :-)
i think i still have the single... big respect for this great track.
Absolutely love this song. Saw it first on Countdown when I was a kid. Still reminds me of that time. Love it.
The Expression out of Sydney only had a couple of hits in the early 80's but they were great, thanks for the post.
Un classique du Bus milieu des années 80, j'avais acheté le vinyle en 84
Great song i binge listening at the time
I was the drummer with this band🥂
Perhaps this is the best song in the whole Universe!
Wonderful Song! It so deserved to be a hit.
A great song that could and should have been a successful follow-up to The Expression's first and sadly only hit, "With Closed Eyes". I'm sure I can't be the only one who still shakes his head at the mongrel misfortune in releasing a single titled "Total Eclipse" and (sigh/cringe/puke...take your pick) even containing the full line "total eclipse of the heart"―in bloody 1983! Was it just uncanny bad luck or were the gods of fate in an especially malign and perverse humour that year? Boo Bonnie Tyler!
Hah..Im just hearing this today for the first time, completely missed this band back when I was a kid. I was thinking the exact same thing...had to have been so jacked up for them back in the day?
I was NOT brought here from a Bonnie Tyler search!
I was listening to "With Closed Eyes" after having my memory jogged by, of all things, "Computer One" and this song came on automatically when I was out of the room.
Can't say I remember it from back in the day. Did Molly ever play this film clip for us?
Człowiek musi tu wrócić i posłuchać tej perełki.Chyba się uzależniłem.Muzyka przez duże M!!!
Great Song You Never Hear.
Totally Awesome song and great band.
am surprised. few listeners while it's a great song
I'm crazy for this song!
I love this band.
Ja również -magia!!!
@glee2460 If I remember it correctly when they wanted to release the song, it was titled Total Eclipse of the Heart, but was shorten it to Total Eclipse so as to differentiate it with the Bonnie Tyler/Jim Steinmen song.
Ace song- imagine yourself by the sea enjoying the peace......
Again...so good!
Had the Lp years ago, they did some great stuff.
Deep :)
Stunning ! Thanks for this :)
One of the best aussie songs from the 80s. Anyone has the lyric? Please
He looks like Huey Lewis with the voice of Bryan Ferry.
Genialna kapela
I didn't know they had other songs
It does not get much better if you are form this time!
almacanter is where i got geisha demos. psuedo echo 301 unreleased,v capri and more.
kindly upload "satisfied strangers" if you have it. thanks!
Does anyone have the lyrics of this song ?
The fact that this track was totally eclipsed by Bonnie Tyler was an injustice and should have led to it's re-release with a new title.

God bless you all, dear friends. 🌼
Jak by mi ktoś zakrył oczy to myślałbym że to D.M . Tym czasem kiedy ten utwór powstał D.M nie wiedzieli jak się nazywają a szczególnie nie wiedzieli jak sie zachowac na scenie.😂
