I knew that Lestat loved Louis "that much". He always conveyed and relayed it even when he was being an ass. The eyes are the windows to the soul and the loved was "seen n his eyes". Brilliant acting!
Lestat would never be like this. This is just mushy fan fair . Part of the tragedy of Lestat is his inability to express his emotions, admitt when he was wrong , or to ever allow anyone to know they have that much power over him. The actors are good at doing what the writers want , but that is not Lesat .
@@copperhead2694 You must not have read the books then. Book Lestat is an emotional crybaby that tells Louis he loves him in at least half of the 13 books in the series. Where tf did you get the idea that he's some sort of stoic character that doesn't speak of his emotions??
@copperhead2694 Keep n mind that this is an "adaptation of the Original book." Therefore being an adaptation, the screenwriters "adapted the character/s" as they saw fit. Keep n mind as well that Anne Rice saw this written adaptation b4 she passed on/transcended and was quite pleased so it was told.
@@copperhead2694actually this is very much how Lestat is to Louis. The first two seasons of the show take parts from most of the books. Especially this scene. The book Interview With The Vampire is only from Luis’ perspective. But even then, you can tell Lestat loved him. I’m excited for season three to start! It’s mostly from the book The Vampire Lestat and a little bit from the book Queen of the Damned. The teaser trailer is great but I can’t wait to see Gabriel and Akasha!!! Sam said in an interview they were in the third season. ❤
Lestat is so broken. He's been thinking about that call, Claudia's death, and all the ways he was cruel to Louis in the past, and he's been overwhelmed with grief. Now he finally sees Louis and can confess his heartbreak to the man he has always loved.
Lestat is crying over Louis' attempted self-exit as if it happened a few days ago (down to the exact time he got the call), not 50 years ago! Ugh, the heartbreak on his face... 💔 The acting on this show is top-tier.
Louis attempted suicide not a self exit, why is everyone afraid to type the word suicide. Its not a bad word and not saying it feels like an attempt to erase the very real experience that people have.

It also gave me the impression that that’s when Lestat thought that Louis was dead (even though he wasn’t). Also, the way Lestat was shouting Louis’ name, hoping he could hear him broke me but because Louis is of Lestat’s blood, Louis didn’t hear the exact words Lestat telepathically wanted to say and had to trust Armand to do his part.
