- Welcome to a new series, a very special one at that! I have been meaning to talk about my life, its struggles, achievements, ups and downs, everything under the sun, and of course, my learning from having lived a hard but interesting life.
As opposed to other videos, I took a personal choice to speak in Hindi, my mother tongue. No matter the language the essence is still the same, and pardon if I came across as too preachy but this is my story, and I am proud of everything that brought me so far.
This is the sixth part of the series, where I talk about my first year in London, a very cruel turn of events for what was supposed to be a dream come true moment, and my struggles with not having a stable place to live in a new city. Also please listen till the end, because the takeaways that I talk about are more than just my personal plight and I hope with this little story, I am able to bring the message across. Be kind to people around you, you never know what they might be going through.
Hope you enjoy watching it and take something from my mistakes and experiences!

Being someone who has lost her dad , i understand the long pause in the video. Life is hard, people who are sensitive and empathetic have to go through it. But those are the people who brings that goodness in the world. Rise and shine ❤
I am so sorry to hear that. I hope you are doing okay and sending you loads of love
Thank you for opening up and reminding us all that vulnerability can be a source of strength.Truly touched by your courage in sharing such a personal and powerful story and sending you all the love and support in the world!♥️
Thank you Amrita. Your kind words means a lot to me :)
Thank you for sharing your joys, sorrows and what appears to be an incredible roller coaster of a life in the last few years. It makes me happy to see that despite all odds, you are in a place that you have always wanted to be. Godspeed!
Thank you so much! I would not say I am where I wanted to be, but I am here and alive and that is also important :)
More power to you. You’ve seen the rock bottom. The curve is gonna go up only. Woohoo 🎉

You are an amazing, inspiring human being ❤and a strong example of sensibility and empathy. Genuinely love your content and story, the sheer realistic nature of this series..❤
Thank you so much!!
Pooja i can't express how strong you are and I really resonate with your words around the line that dont pity the person who have lost someone. I lost my mom a year back and i hate when I'm in a social setting with my relatives they see me with pity eyes, my mood immediately goes down and then i spiral into about how if mom were here she and i would be reading newspaper articles together.
Your story always gives me strength and i always tell myself if pooja who is living alone in a foreign country can tackle all this like a soldier, i could do it too. This makes it easier for me to pick myself up and make all of mom's dreams for me come true.
More power and god speed success to you. Always rooting for you 🌻
thank you for sharing your story today. It must be very hard for you to open up like this. First year is the hardest, and you want to go back in your shell. I went through a similar thing with friends, no one seem to understand where I am coming from and felt extremely misunderstood. With time it gets better handling the pain, but it never goes away. Wishing you strength to carry on this hard journey! :)
Love your Videos. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for watching!
