Banyule Green Waste

Finally got around to Banyule just the other day to shoot the service. Banyule Council perform all their runs in-house with a tidy fleet of Iveco/Bucher units which has been their choice of vehicle since the beginning it would seem. This video takes a look at a greens run in Ivanhoe on labour day morning, found this truck and the newer Stralis unit servicing the red bins pretty quickly after disembarking the train. The council have just recently moved to a weekly fogo service moving the general waste to fortnightly, with this change a bunch of new 140l red bins have been brought in which look pretty cool in my opinion. Anyway enjoy this look at the green waste service, i will be releasing my recordings of the recycling truck I captured in the near future.

they’ve already replaced some of the older trucks with new iveco stralis which was done couple years ago
