    so cool to see how the world really did open up for joe. that is one of the most inspirational parts to the video when the thai trainer talks about that

    Joe and Simon had an amazing rematch. It shows that North America have great fighters that entertain the fans that continue to grow. There has been such a large grow spurt and its exciting to see the future of the sport in the US

    Im American and just hearing Joe talk made me want the Thai fighter to win. He is a good fighter, but just do your job, represent your country and nothing else. It takes away from the fighter when they talk alot.

  • @thebestofmasters

    I wouldn't brag about that considering that the Thai guy was at least 12-15 pounds lighter...

  • @isamudyson001
    @isamudyson001 12 лет назад +2

    If they did weigh in the US fighters must of cut weight, Ross and Schilling were massive compared to the Thai fighters. I've never met a Thai that cuts for fights within Thailand (only going on the few I know).
    Not saying this was rigged in any way just not a fan of it if this is the case.

    Kaoklai has fought guys nearly twice his size, and won. So the size difference isn't something that bothers Kaoklai. Check his fights out on RUclips, the guy is a legend!nProblem is (my guess) that Kaoklai is getting old and aren't as hungry as he used to be.

    Awesome way to represent the USA and congrats for opening up more opportunities in the ring. Was this fight in Lumpinee Bangkok Thailand?? I went there last year while visiting Thailand that stadium reminded me of the movie with Bolo and Van Damme can't remember the title of the movie. I think it was Kickboxer.

    Even though the funding is seldom, there are those that still support this movement and I will continue to document events that are landmark events in America. There are great film makers exploring Thailand, but there is not one that is dedicated to exploring the sport in the USA. I want the USA fighter to have a presence on the world stage so Muay Thai as a sport can be as glamours and respected as a fighting sport like Boxing and MMA. Thank you for your support.
    Jeff

    He's definitely a Muay Thai fighter, but his style isn't as technical as the best Thai fighters and relies on power and heart. He's a lot more skilled then huge amount of people who call themselves Muay Thai fighters.

    You can, in fact, stop crazy; just ask Simon Marcus. Joe is strong and aggressive, there's no denying that...but 2 losses in a row to Simon proves that he isn't the best at 175 right now.

I agree, that these videos would draw alot of views if i kept creating but the budget for these are seldom to none.

    The problems with American fighters is that they are too cocky and annoying, and every one do it. Seriously, the only one who deserve to be cocky is the champion. These American fighters keep saying they have world class muay thai, then prove it! The French prove it, The Dutch prove it, Hell even The Australian prove it. If you want to show you are the best, then go to Thailand and win world title, not just fight in your own country and whine....Jeez.

  • @jeffdojillo
    @jeffdojillo  12 лет назад

    @drjinlchi what happens when these fighters can not get fights over seas? One reason that these fighters are getting international fights is due to American promoters brining international talent to build the sport in the USA.the French have done it, the Aussies, the Dutch. Just like slamm, evolution, etc it takes time. That is whys created these videos

    I have a question:
    When thais talk about muay thai/thaiboxing is not about winning, do people think they do this just as a joke or stay behind that in case they should loose?
    Why do you think that these kind of fights allways has a slower pace towards the end vs. thai vs. thai rasing the pace towards the end?
    Don't you think it is better not to know, than to know wrongly?
    This fight is not muay thai!

    first to Mr. Dojillo great videos sir and second for those who do read and want a little clarification or better yet a little more light on this..... Kaoklai is and was at his prime a champion at 147 and 154lbs he was then told how he could make a lot more money fighting bigger fighters internationally so yes he has always sacrificed a huge weight advantage including in this fight I mean come on people it doesn't take rocket science to see the physical difference lets face the obvious Kaoklai took this fight for the money the Thais aren't like Americans they are dirt poor so winning doesn't give them a future advertisement to make money as the next Ninja warrior lol if you look up what they have done in their careers Kaoklaihas 100X more accomplishments the Schilling and schilling isn't even top 15 on the fighters he fought in resume schilling has a record of 23-9 13 kos not much KO power and hes been knocked unconscious 5X his mouth cant protect his glass jaw it seems

    Buakaw been doing MT for 22 years til he retired this year. Give the guy credit for winning near untouched, but if you train MT don't look at him as a role model..He's obviously very cocky, and one day another fighter will put him in his place.

  • @JohnstonPettigrew
    @JohnstonPettigrew 12 лет назад

    Athit fights from culture and respect for Muay Thai....Joe is a street fighter with greater upper body strength (something not present in most Thai boxers, as they concentrate on legs development and genetically have strong legs from 1,000's of years of working in rice fields).....Joe wins, but Muay Thai and the Wai Kru are more important to Athit. But, good luck Joe.

    Read my original post I said the few Thai fighters I know dont cut. also you can't tell me by looking at the fighters side by side that the Americans cut much more weight. I have nothing against Ross at all infact i have alot of respect for him, as for Schilling I only know what I saw here and that isnt enough to make me dislike a fighter. My point was I personally am not a fan of weight cutting and it is nowhere near as popular in Thailand as it is in western culture. stop being a troll

  • @justinmathew111

    Makes me laugh to see all the Thai talk shit, saying they should fight Buakaw. Buakaw is obviously the fucking champ. Muay Thai is about respecting the fighter but that only applies to Thai people when it's Thai vs Thai. They can't stand to see other countries smash their guys. From what I just watched it was 2 out of 3 Americans winning in a Thai sport and the one who lost was close to a draw.

    • @sportmuaythai
      @sportmuaythai 10 лет назад +4

      Oh Yeah? Thais talk shit? I don't do keyboard fights, nor do I back off. Americans want to prove they are good at muaythai, but they are not yet there. On the world circuit, they have a long way yet to go.
      BTW size does matter, and you get a very good fighter who is much larger, to knock out an extremely good fighter. Kaoklai Kaenorasing is about as large as a Thai fighter could get, and he would fight better at 165 lbs. Yet he has the courage to fight any body (for the purse).
