As a guy who just finished Vanguard G Next Taiyou has definitely grown up since his first appearance. One of my favourite Vanguard characters because I love his character growth.
"He won't even take it easy on a beginner huh?" You shouldn't take it easy on anyone, going easy on people is saying that they're not good enough to be treated like a real fighter. It's a matter of respect to not patronize someone just because they're new, young, male, female ETC.
Well going easy. On a beginner is perfectly reasonable if I was new to a game and someone good at it went full blast on me I wouldn't find it enjoyable as I don't even have all the rules under my belt yet
Super late to reply, but this is totally a valid point. Viewing someone as a beginner sometimes makes them feel marginalized. Personally, I don’t like it when people hold back when it comes to games or skills in general.
I mean in real life people dont know if they'll actually continue a game or not, so making sure they have a grasp of the rules is more important, they'll become better with time they invest into the game, but that's their choice, until then they are a beginner. If they dont regard themselves as a beginner then other people wont help them as a beginner
Good to see Misaki is still around, we know Aichi is still alive since he was contacted by Kamui on his cellphone in a really early episode of G, same with Kai but we haven't seem them appear. If Chrono gets to Nationals I wonder we will see some of the old teams that we have seen from earlier seasons like Team Handsome or Asteroid, maybe even a new Q4.
well it really is one of the 'easiest' to learn aside from Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic The Gathering... try explaining Link Summons to someone who you taught to know the main 5 Summoning Methods before-Links... and why Links are so cool in there own way
Chrono and Taiyou is just like me I dont really have those friends and I am a loner also but watching Vanguard inspired me to socialize for more peoples and discover new things in life that is why I watch all Vanguard seasons for 1 to 5
It's only just occurred to me that every season someone is taught how to play: Season 1: Aichi Season 2: Takuto Season 3: Naoki Season 4: Naoki (again) Season 5: Taiyou
This kid... I feel for him. I know what it feels like to be alone, and have it be better at times. I can imagine a little bit of the 'moving all the time' thing, especially watching other characters going through that. One thing that's remained constant with this character type: They don't give up on their dreams! And those chance meetings they have with certain people... start friendships for life!! This kid's gonna be fine in the future. Vanguard is just one road to take in making friends!!
FoodBot Chaotic might not have that high power numbers that Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and even Cardfight Vanguard are known for, but I liked how the battle was about the strength of the player, instead of just the card. If I played Chaotic, I know I wouldn't last long. I don't have the energy for it!!! (And I mean the show version, in the Battledromes!)
Chaotic was such a unique Card Game sucks the rumours of a 2016 reboot were false, but hey Bakugan just got a reboot, Vanguard Sorta did, but was never dead, so who knows maybe ot could happen in the future
Finally, they actually explain how to use the g units the right way, when Kamui was teaching Chrono he didn't do a good job of teaching it. This just shows that while Kamui's the better player, Chrono's better at teaching.
Maple Sugar yes how dare the show build char up his chars and world over teaching 90% of the people who are already watching this world how to play they mostly already know ps ; this is a joke
@drow_Lilith9940 Late, but... You can't treat the real world audience like they're the fictional one. If you're gonna introduce a mechanic in a show you need to explain it properly so the viewers can understand it.
It's nice that Misaki got have a scene in here! She's been out of the show far too long!! (Nice reference to using two decks!! Hope Aichi follows the same advice!!) That being said... Aichi needs to make another appearance. It would be nice to see him using Liberators or Seekers again!!!
***** Did you even read my comment? I said 'ANOTHER APPEARANCE'!! Not to metnion, that was Aichi, minus Facial details. it doesn't count outside Cameo. Misaki has gotten more than that. Kamui too!!
RedDragonForce2 I saw episode 26 of G NEXT in recommended list, though subbed. Had Aichi! So for dub he's just a month or so away. It'll be a great way to kick off summer vacation! And he had a new Blaster Blade unit on the pic, too. I can't wait!
1. Great epsiode. It did better than the 1st one teaching stride and overall gameplay. 2. It's so cool you can make a deck even when you don't know how to play vanguard, lol. 3. I want a super - passionate - hard working character with a grade 4 called. "Dragon Dragon Draco Dragon". I love the names of the cards.
Chrono is being a good teacher here!!! He's learned well!!! Grown up a good bit too!!! Kinda had to wait an entire season for Aichi to do that, and had to wait ANOTHER season to have it be proper. (First time was Takudo, who Avatar'd Ezel.)
Did anyone else notice the reverb problem in the opening? sounded like two people rhythmically batting a ping pong ball at a short distance. I'm at the point where I mainly watch the subbed, because they don't make the quality mistakes, then again I'd imagine Their budget is low for the localisation, and at least they put it on RUclips so they wouldn't have to make localised and censored and changed too much.
Wow bushiroad when they zoom in on cards you still see bushiroad all rights reserved come on bushiroad barley even exists in that world and yet they put it on the cards
in the asia circuit a kid who said he didint know how to play also used the gold paladin i asume this guy is going to take the gear chronicle and say "you must defeat the link joker using gold paladin"
In someways I can relate to both of them especially Taiyou, I've always had to juggle with the struggle of being antisocial and shy, and feel like one of those people who's always by themselves alone, but like him I don't want to always be alone either
Are we- are we actually getting the rumoured introduction fight? Well, better late than never... Does that mean there will be *actual* well structured full fights in the future? :o
Hmmm, some audio quality issues in this episode. Wonder if Bushi will fix that they way they fixed the colour issue in episode 1. Taiyou's voice is okay; it works for what we know of the character. Still can't get over how Chrono's voice actor pronounces 'Epoch'. It's interesting that Bushiroad decided to wait until episode 26 for the tutorial episode; well, at least they made one. It's nice to hear the "astral bodies on the planet Cray" thing again. This was also the episode where the third ending theme started.
When Kamoui said "It seemed just like yesterday that I taught him how to play" I shouted "THAT WAS YESTERDAY FOR ME!" Note: I'm rewatching the current series in a large stream.
I realise the small boy was the focus of this episode but my mind is fixating on the possibility of seeing SHIN of all people fight. The mentor figure from the very first episode of Aichi's saga, who never took an overly active role in the game, finally throwing down? I can't wait!!
I don't know Leon just seems to have a stick too far up his poophole for my taste plus Jamie taught me more about Japanese culture than any 30 anime put together.
It's because the japanese lyrics are just a slight beat or half beat longer than sung in english and they just horribly did the audio of the beat. I still doesn't excuse the echoey sound of it though. -_-
As a guy who just finished Vanguard G Next Taiyou has definitely grown up since his first appearance.
One of my favourite Vanguard characters because I love his character growth.
*Cough cough* Shin says that he has to take inventory and yet you can see him in the background cleaning the tables. Hmmm........suspicious?
Are u really chrono
+Randy Mo I don't know. Do you see any other people named Chrono around here? No? Okay then.
Yes, I am really Chrono.
hey Baku whats up
question what was the gear chronicles clan feels like?
Dark Magician Girl What do you mean?
all the info in This Episode needed to be in episode one dammit!!!
now i can use my grade 4's
"He won't even take it easy on a beginner huh?"
You shouldn't take it easy on anyone, going easy on people is saying that they're not good enough to be treated like a real fighter. It's a matter of respect to not patronize someone just because they're new, young, male, female ETC.

Super late to reply, but this is totally a valid point. Viewing someone as a beginner sometimes makes them feel marginalized. Personally, I don’t like it when people hold back when it comes to games or skills in general.
I only hold back against kids and and beginners.
I mean in real life people dont know if they'll actually continue a game or not, so making sure they have a grasp of the rules is more important, they'll become better with time they invest into the game, but that's their choice, until then they are a beginner. MindstormXL Ture..
here do u guys think Leon is?
MindstormXL What about Jurassic Army or Black Magic? Chemistry Club, Spyder, etc...
MindstormXL what tge hell are talking about
Prince Dzameshie he thinks teams from vanguard series 1 to 4 will be in team try 3 tournament
if only teaching vanguard was this easy 'sigh'
well it really is one of the 'easiest' to learn aside from Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic The Gathering... try explaining Link Summons to someone who you taught to know the main 5 Summoning Methods before-Links... and why Links are so cool in there own way
I dig links
The more you understand something the easier it is to teach
It's not too hard other then needing to know the Trigger Symbols , most of the basics are pretty basic, Even Striding I think you just discard up to 3
@@rescuerex7031 the only thing that can be advanced is the clans and their unique features and abilities
That pink swirl in his hair BOTHERS ME SO MUCH
Reminds me of gum
😂😂😂Probably but chrono's so cool
Hm, nah. It's part of his hair. Kindly like brunette's lightly brown hairs in the dark ones.
Chrono and Taiyou is just like me I dont really have those friends and I am a loner also but watching Vanguard inspired me to socialize for more peoples and discover new things in life that is why I watch all Vanguard seasons for 1 to 5

lol.4:40 .when he was moving the fields on the table it kinda remind me of "Chaotic" that tv show that use to be on lol
Yeah I know what you mean that was an okay show
FoodBot Chaotic might not have that high power numbers that Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and even Cardfight Vanguard are known for, but I liked how the battle was about the strength of the player, instead of just the card. FoodBot I hear a lot of people are trying to bring it back. And they have the episodes here on RUclips, all of them! Look up Peytonic Master
Chaotic was such a unique Card Game sucks the rumours of a 2016 reboot were false, but hey Bakugan just got a reboot, Vanguard Sorta did, but was never dead, so who knows maybe ot could happen in the future

That ending......so sweet.

RedDragonForce2 Did you notice Misaki's still using Tsukuyomi and Regalia by her G-Units?
+Yukina Amostsu I noticed it
***** Did you even read my comment? I said 'ANOTHER APPEARANCE'!!
Not to metnion, that was Aichi, minus Facial details. it doesn't count outside Cameo. Misaki has gotten more than that. Kamui too!!

Also in that scene, assist-a cat is still alive. I thought it died of old age... it seems to have had the two cats that are the new assist-a cat.
Whos rewatching this after the new taiyou
That lil boi was so derpy doing his generation stride lol.
22:08 Oracle!! ALWAYS CHOOSE ORACLE PERIOD.
Not only because of Nostalgia but also because it is my favourite
this is one of the better episodes, we actually got to see a full card fight
Wow only 26 episodes in and they FINALLY explain how the generation stride works...
in all honesty, i think chrono has the best past story, or it is at least on par with kais
What about Gailard's past?
Naruto and garra
?
albert brito
I agree, Gaillard has the best backstory
Brandon Vo dbz kais?
That kid have same clan like Aichi used to use in season 2 & 3
' Imagine it.. The moment the two of you become one.. " -Cough-...
O good I needed a review episode of the game, great episode.
Chrono is being a good teacher here!!!
He's learned well!!! Grown up a good bit too!!!
Kinda had to wait an entire season for Aichi to do that, and had to wait ANOTHER season to have it be proper. (First time was Takudo, who Avatar'd Ezel.)
I mostly had no idea what he said when he was teaching that kid
to be honesty here this is the most i seen the game really being play and seeing the step by step and not all fast forward
Crono shindo
Aichi sendo
It seems so similar
I'm sorry if i misspelled there names I can't spell
Chrono* Shindou* Aichi. Sendou*
@@inlovewithmya Yup! Thats right
All the protagonists last names are gonna begin with S
CrimsonBattleChampion -mine craft pokemon showdown and they rhyme
17:20-17:23 Love how pumped up Taiyou sounds. He's ready to kick butt

in the asia circuit a kid who said he didint know how to play also used the gold paladin i asume this guy is going to take the gear chronicle and say "you must defeat the link joker using gold paladin"
guess i was wrong
The boy was Takuto
In someways I can relate to both of them especially Taiyou, I've always had to juggle with the struggle of being antisocial and shy, and feel like one of those people who's always by themselves alone, but like him I don't want to always be alone either
Guess u should start playing Vanguard 😉
Are we- are we actually getting the rumoured introduction fight? Well, better late than never...
Does that mean there will be *actual* well structured full fights in the future? :o
Taiyou's cute gasp at 7:32
Indoor Otaku I thought I was the only one rewatching the old episodes
Sylveon Pink you're never alone lol
Like honestly this episode helped me understand a few things I didn't understand about the game
I been watching this for so long I spent almost a day
awesome episode
I like the new look for increasing power, gaining a critical, and shielding during the fight
Same here
what was with that audio in the opening? it sounded like a horse ran through the studio
Lol
Tabor Philip And I thought my headphones were bugging out XD
Tabor Philip It was the United Sanctuary Branch Manager. Or someone got a new audio editing program but i thinks its the first one.
Was it just me who heard the drums really loud in the intro then?
It sounded like drums or a horse but it just doesn't sound good in the intro
Hmmm, some audio quality issues in this episode. Wonder if Bushi will fix that they way they fixed the colour issue in episode 1. Taiyou's voice is okay; it works for what we know of the character. Still can't get over how Chrono's voice actor pronounces 'Epoch'.

This was also the episode where the third ending theme started.
Wave Sine i know wat u mean i was gonna post a comment about that
Wave Sine To be fair the first episode had to introduce the G units more than anything else
Wave Sine Um, are you like the reviewer for this series. Because, I've seen you put comments like this before.
Wave Sine I have reason to believe that Taiyou will be coming back, no doubt about it. I really like him, but he has the personality of Aichi. :P
josspider100 Yeah but that's why I like him , because you know he'll develop his character.
Gold paladins!!! Finally..
How did tht kid not jump when two random ppl suddenly appeared next to him out of nowhere?? I wld get a heart attack.. -.-
Lol
AnimeLover17 there is the gold paldin but no Aichi
l never really liked Gold Paladin, especially the old ones. They used to look so mismatched and ugly.
aphmau21 I kinda liked the old ones like Incandecent Lion, Blonde Ezel.
8:18 OH HEY PAL! HOW'S THAT INVENTORY GOING!
shin has something to do with gear chronicle
When Kamoui said "It seemed just like yesterday that I taught him how to play" I shouted "THAT WAS YESTERDAY FOR ME!"
Note: I'm rewatching the current series in a large stream.
1:45 me with any card game.
Cocytus...noooo!!!!!
You monster, hasn't cocytus been trough enough?
In 4:59 you can see monarch sanctuary alfred in the poster
Am I the only one that watches a couple of seasons(sometimes series) and then go back to the beginning? Because that's what I'm doing right now.
K Willow Alvarez LOL same
26 episodes in and we finally get the teaching match. Late much
22.03
In the photo, is that Shin's team when he was young?
Is that yellow hair dude the teacher of Aichi?
HeadCaptainKyoraku Yep, Mr. Mark
once agn the history of the game makes no sense
but also chronos dad rive
Dang that background music it’s amazing it makes me so happy
I like that editing
This episode is probably the best episode yet
so cool i like cardfight vanguard g
By can't help they meant they didn't want to reveal shin's deck
When ever Chrono says any word with S it sounds sharp
Man, I really do enjoy episodes where q4, dreadnought, asteroid, SIT genius, anyone that's from the old cast are in
I realise the small boy was the focus of this episode but my mind is fixating on the possibility of seeing SHIN of all people fight. The mentor figure from the very first episode of Aichi's saga, who never took an overly active role in the game, finally throwing down? I can't wait!!
I wanna see Chrono Vs Misaki xD
Mr. Perfect would just win so I'd rather not...
Chrono is the Jaden of Vanguard
That really should have happened.
I agree
This was a really good episode.
That opening though
Wow jamie driving a lambo
Leon > Jamie
That's just my opinion.
Wip
I don't know Leon just seems to have a stick too far up his poophole for my taste plus Jamie taught me more about Japanese culture than any 30 anime put together.
michaelkeha If only they pronounced his name correctly in the english dub.
Agreed but kind of random. I would think Ren would be a better comparison haha.
It's not an opinion if it's a fact. Jamie himself once said that he's not at Leon's level.
Audio problems make this episode hard to watch
Before this episode I was boosting with grade 3 😂😂
This video helped me with the things I did wrong in the game
it wasn't until chrono started teaching the game that I realized he was Baku
time for the first tournament of vanguard g
WTF the old card capital is still there???
yeah
Dominic Nguyen Why? there's a #2 card capital but they still go to the old one?
It's Misaki's and Shin's home. .-.
BloxianBloxerz ik that
+~TheBigboyOfDestiny~ shin still owns the first one i bet and misaki owns the second one and they both probably watch overs the other's store
22:03 Chrono's Dad, Mr. Mark and Shin's team
I'm surprised G units work. I mean the person who does second gets to attack first and stride first. Total advantage, and yet the game is still smooth
Took twenty-six episodes, but they finally covered the new mechanics in full... that didn't take long at all... D'x.
Hurry up with episode 27
Well, never read a Gen Unit, so I wondered about that 26000 power they always had. Glad they explained it here!!
I really enjoyed this episode in how it was a tutorial vid. I just wish it wasn't this late in the series.
The emotion sounds better in the middle, but yea some parts of audio are weird (the opening for example.)
Anyone else wondering why the next episode hasn't been released yet?
Yea ikr
Is that a lambo at the start when that guy wins his battle and i forgot the guys in the battles name
wow! shin finally played vanguard instead minding the shop.
Horses are fucking running the vanguard opening
It makes the opening decseant though
He's chris son from season 2
Impossible
Woah woah woah, WHOS CHRIS' SON?!? Is it that boy that was fighting chrono?
Tomboy GurlTV yeah same hair color same height
Not possible
Gao Mikado are we doing a crossover episode now or are you just lost
so cool i love your vidz
Team already watched this but you still want to watch this 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Lol I saw nobody comment on this, but the new power circle thingies that display the units power look swaggy. :)
22:00
They may say Aichi.
If you think with me like this comment.
This may be a return of AICHI!!!!!!
Now, he'll probs be in the next 2 episodes.
its funny how this episode explains how to play vanguard way better than the first.
Do u guys notice in some animations people don't age but this one does
Momoru is my favourite charecter
Chrono has the best past story, and then Jamie, then kai
As the guy who watched all the episodes Taiyou is definitely grown
how did he pull out a G unit from his hand
so good!!!
it's great to see misaki again
It's because the japanese lyrics are just a slight beat or half beat longer than sung in english and they just horribly did the audio of the beat. I still doesn't excuse the echoey sound of it though. -_-
taio reminds me of the other kid forget his name but they both have the same voice and were friends with the main character
look in the back round at 14:13 ITS ONE OF THE CARDS FROM THE 1ST GENERATION OF VANGUARD
The Drum line is Doubled e.e
22:02 is it ninja master M with Shin and the mysterious man who use the gear chronicle clan?
