Hey NJZ! Love it when you play. Please do another pasic concert, that last one was the bomb! Also, thanks for having the guts to upload your videos online. Many professional marimbists i know are terrified of having video up because they occasionally make "mistakes". You rock!
Wow, this is amazing!!!! It takes a lot for solo marimba to make me feel like I'm melting inside, and this made me melt a lot on the inside from the first phrase. Many claps!
SirWhoLikesMusic It is. Works just the same as with a marimba or a vibraphone. Only downside is that on a xylophone you won't adapt to the larger intervals in one hand on a marimba.
special! But it's sad that wasn't a lot of audience... it should be full and other people listening from outside, because it's a pretty hard to play this song (knowing from experience) and it's beautiful.
Gustav Mahler lead me to you thanks to das Komponierhaesuchen Video in Toblach and I am discovering your musical universe and skill - impressive. Hope to hear you in real one day. Gracias!
One of my all time favorite pieces! a fantastic composer and performances

I absolutely love listening to this recording. Thank you NJZ!
The only thing I dislike is how few people are in the audience, but I'm not the dope who "disliked" the vid
Always loved the way you just go for it - maximum intensity, all the time.
That's pretty amazing that you can play that from memory after 15 years
Love the video on the mallets! Best of luck in Spokane, WA next weekend. I wish I could be there, but have other obligations.
