I hate to say this but Parts 4 and 5 are the least important parts. However, at least with part 5, it goes into depth with the “Requiem arrow.” Of course every part is beautiful in its own way and no one should skip any parts.

You're right! I'm Italian, and Golden Wind is just the same for me. The characters' names, the places and other details... I got to visit Naples last summer, and it was amazing to recognize the actual places Araki used in his drawings (also in Rome and Venice).

As someone who's really enjoyed the manga of this part... It honestly makes my heart flutter seeing the whole gang again in full animation. Jojo Fans who haven't read part 6 are in for a treat. Not only does the animation look fantastic, it really makes me feel optimistic for when part 7 eventually comes.

It's made of the same meteorite and carries the same virus as all the others. The only reason Giorno didn't get GER when GE was pierced by Black Sabbath is the same reason Polnareff didn't fully get Chariot Requiem when Silver Chariot was pierced the first time. It has to remain in the stand for the full duration of the transformation.

I’m so glad they finally brought back the CG openings. As much as I liked Parts 4 and 5’s, the CG gave it its own flair that made it stand out from a typical anime opening and this proves it once again.
It just hit me that although we've had a ton of jojo this last decade, the anime is still 21 years behind the source material. We'll have plenty of jojo in the years to come!
Some people doesn't seem to be liking this but aren't all JoJo OPs made to describe the protagonist and whole anime's intensity and mood? Most of their openings are also the type that grows on you. Stand proud and Chase are the prime examples.
I think the song is pretty weak. As you said, JoJo openings usually grow on you, so I’ve listened to it a few times. Don’t like it. Opening cinematic is amazing, though! So cool to see a 3D opening again.

Tbh, i never liked the 2nd opening of part 4. Maybe bcz of the genre. Visually it was great, but i could bever vibe with it. Even the other openings were not as great as any other parts (for me).
That’s because Kamikaze Douga are GOATS when it comes to CG animation. Even stuff like that weird Batman Ninja movie was at least aesthetically pleasing.

The GCI is back baby! There is just something about the CGI openings in JoJo that just intrigues me. I love how it looks like a whole bunch of comic book bubbles, screen tones, bright colors, and the occasional comic style small icons (like the lips at 0:26) make it look a bit more western. I love how there are small references to Stand Proud (like at 0:53 - 1:04 and 1:15 [from what I found]). And I absolutely adore how at 1:12 they show (in order) the stone mask, the red stone of Aja, DIO or Vanilla Ice's disintegrating body, some parts of Sheer Heart Attack, Killer Queen, and Stray Cat plus some other things, and the Stand arrow, all with the thread forming a star on Jolyne's back. I could be wrong on somethings but that is what some people found.
The 4th thing they show at 1:12 is a diamond with a few different things inside of it. In the top left there's Stray Cat, below that are some coins referencing Shigechi, in the middle is Sheer Heart Attack, in the top right is The Hand, and below that is Crazy Diamond. There's also a peace sign above the diamond to the left.
I feel like JoJo openings are one of the few times where anime fans wholly welcome CG in their anime. That aside this opening rocks! Absolutely hyped for Stone Ocean!
It uses CGI wonderfully to capture the manga more than the animation style can't as they simplified it as much as possible to make it easier to animate Cgi doesn't have that problem so why not capture the manga as much as possible

I know a lot of people don’t consider Part 6 to be one of the stronger entries in Jojo, but this has got to be my favorite, mostly due to how insanely creative their stands are while not going too bat shit insane. The fact that Jolyne’s stand is so simple compared to other Jojos is also a plus, since rather than relying on OP bullshit, she actually have to be creative with how she uses it.
I’m at a loss for words. The amount of visual and musical creativity is astounding. This opening is very unlike the others, but it somehow perfectly fits the theme and feel of Stone Ocean and I’m all for it.

Can we appreciate how good the execution of the Op was? Just look at the color scheme, the mix of 2D and 3D animation, the expressions, the synchronization of the song itself, and most importantly, the references, poses and hidden details. What a good precedent for the adaptation that is yet to come
You know, at 0:53 when Jolyne makes that reference to Stand Proud, it lingers on that image for a fraction of a second longer than I feel it should. I theorize that in a later iteration of this opening, more people will stand with her, à la Stardust Crusaders.
Stone ocean is the only manga I’ve ever read in one sitting. When I finished it, it had me thinking about it non-stop 2 weeks straight. I really loved this part. To say I’m beyond excited is and understatement
I tried reading it all at once but had to put it down at Highway to Hell, specifically the dude’s third attempt. In my defense a lot of stuff was going on irl and it’s my first time reading any manga
I got the same empty pit in my stomach feeling after finishing part 6 of Jojo's that I did reading the last chapter of berserk. Definitely for different reasons and stone ocean's ending is good but it was anything but easy to digest after my first reading experience. Especially since I was lucky enough to not get spoiled on the ending. Tbh I didn't even consider steel ball runs cast so the ending completely came out of left field for me. I think Stone Ocean is my favorite part yeah I liked steel ball run and thought it was more consistent but I just really like Stone Oceans wackiness. Reading it felt like experiencing a fever dream and that sounds awful but I kind of loved that it was the most jojo a jojo part could be.

This opening's direction is godly. Honestly I think this was the best Jojo op in visual terms. The forward motion really creates this sense of a prison escape in a very interesting way. The song is perfect for the tone and time period of the part. This is one of the best anime openings of all time
They got the 3d back, references to Jotaro's opening, but the touch and movement we've seen too in the last openings, its like they got what best worked from previous openings but in terms of Jolyne style, I love it! I couldnt think of how this specific opening could get any better, I think they far achieved what they were looking for here
I 100% agree with what you said about the visuals. Best visuals I've seen in an anime op (next to death note). However, in terms of jojo opening songs, this is the weakest
The shot around 0:17 is just incredible. Those hand painted textures are so well-done. As someone who makes a living in the 3d industry, This is the top-notch quality for toon-shader stuffs imo.

Actually, the opening is made by another Japanese studio named Kamikaze Douga, they animated openings up to stardust crusaders. David animations handles animating story itself but openings are so different and unique just because of the fact they are being made by another banger studio.

This honestly feels like the opening to a final part. It references everything in Jojo and ties it all together perfectly. That just makes me nervous that this is where they will stop animating, though.
I mean it is the end of this timeline so your observation makes perfect sense to me. They can't really do this much referencing starting from part 7 and up anymore with the world or timeline reset.

Some people doesn't seem to be liking this but aren't all JoJo OPs made to describe the protagonist and whole anime's intensity and mood? Most of their openings are also the type that grows on you. Stand proud and Chase are the prime examples.
The OP for the first half tend to not be as grandiose as the ones for the 2nd half.

The GCI is back baby! There is just something about the CGI openings in JoJo that just intrigues me. I love how it looks like a whole bunch of comic book bubbles, screen tones, bright colors, and the occasional comic style small icons (like the lips at 0:26) make it look a bit more western. I love how there are small references to Stand Proud (like at 0:53 - 1:04 and 1:15 [from what I found]). And I absolutely adore how at 1:12 they show (in order) the stone mask, the red stone of Aja, DIO or Vanilla Ice's disintegrating body, some parts of Sheer Heart Attack, Killer Queen, and Stray Cat plus some other things, and the Stand arrow, all with the thread forming a star on Jolyne's back. I could be wrong on somethings but that is what some people found.

The 4th thing they show at 1:12 is a diamond with a few different things inside of it. In the top left there's Stray Cat, below that are some coins referencing Shigechi, in the middle is Sheer Heart Attack, in the top right is The Hand, and below that is Crazy Diamond. There's also a peace sign above the diamond to the left.
I feel like JoJo openings are one of the few times where anime fans wholly welcome CG in their anime.
That aside this opening rocks! Absolutely hyped for Stone Ocean!
It uses CGI wonderfully to capture the manga more than the animation style can't as they simplified it as much as possible to make it easier to animate
Cgi doesn't have that problem so why not capture the manga as much as possible
If only Kamikaze Douga did more CG anime since their one of the few that can pull it off without it looking too much like a video game cutscene.

I know a lot of people don’t consider Part 6 to be one of the stronger entries in Jojo, but this has got to be my favorite, mostly due to how insanely creative their stands are while not going too bat shit insane. The fact that Jolyne’s stand is so simple compared to other Jojos is also a plus, since rather than relying on OP bullshit, she actually have to be creative with how she uses it.
Idk man, part 4 josuke definitely has a super useful support ability but the way he uses it offensively is sometimes 6000 iq

Can we appreciate how good the execution of the Op was? Just look at the color scheme, the mix of 2D and 3D animation, the expressions, the synchronization of the song itself, and most importantly, the references, poses and hidden details. What a good precedent for the adaptation that is yet to come
You know, at 0:53 when Jolyne makes that reference to Stand Proud, it lingers on that image for a fraction of a second longer than I feel it should. I theorize that in a later iteration of this opening, more people will stand with her, à la Stardust Crusaders.
That makes sense, JoJo has the tendency to edit their openings to incorporate those kinds of details

Stone ocean is the only manga I’ve ever read in one sitting. When I finished it, it had me thinking about it non-stop 2 weeks straight. I really loved this part. To say I’m beyond excited is and understatement
I tried reading it all at once but had to put it down at Highway to Hell, specifically the dude’s third attempt. In my defense a lot of stuff was going on irl and it’s my first time reading any manga
I got the same empty pit in my stomach feeling after finishing part 6 of Jojo's that I did reading the last chapter of berserk. Definitely for different reasons and stone ocean's ending is good but it was anything but easy to digest after my first reading experience. Especially since I was lucky enough to not get spoiled on the ending. Tbh I didn't even consider steel ball runs cast so the ending completely came out of left field for me.
I think Stone Ocean is my favorite part yeah I liked steel ball run and thought it was more consistent but I just really like Stone Oceans wackiness. Reading it felt like experiencing a fever dream and that sounds awful but I kind of loved that it was the most jojo a jojo part could be.

This opening's direction is godly. Honestly I think this was the best Jojo op in visual terms. The forward motion really creates this sense of a prison escape in a very interesting way. The song is perfect for the tone and time period of the part. This is one of the best anime openings of all time

They got the 3d back, references to Jotaro's opening, but the touch and movement we've seen too in the last openings, its like they got what best worked from previous openings but in terms of Jolyne style, I love it! I couldnt think of how this specific opening could get any better, I think they far achieved what they were looking for here

Actually, the opening is made by another Japanese studio named Kamikaze Douga, they animated openings up to stardust crusaders. David animations handles animating story itself but openings are so different and unique just because of the fact they are being made by another banger studio.

I love how Jolyne's opening a very much girl band style, but still has references how dramatic her father's openings were.

This honestly feels like the opening to a final part. It references everything in Jojo and ties it all together perfectly. That just makes me nervous that this is where they will stop animating, though.
It's the end of this family of jojo's. Future Jojo have fully different characters so it makes sense.
