I love that you have plenty of lighter colors in this capsule. They are my preference year-round, I would be depressed if I had to wear black and gray all the time.🙂
Same here! I’m a light spring and I don’t wear black, navy or gray. My fall darker colours are olive/khaki, pecan, camel, warm taupe and cobalt blue or a warm red🎉 I often reach for my winter whites / ivory. No black for me it just doesn’t suit
So very beautiful outfits and so great possibilities to create a wonderful French style autumn work capsule wardrobe. And I think Goelias clothes look good on You and are practically at the same time. Wishing You a wonderful new week 😍❤🌹
What beautiful Goelia pieces, Lauren! I can imagine many different outfits with these items and much versatility in a capsule wardrobe. You’ve created many stylish outfits that I can see myself wearing. I do not own any Goelia items but I have heard great reviews about their quality and designs.
Hi Cristina, hope you're keeping well and thanks so much for writing ❤️ It was great to finally try out a new brand, I'd heard of Goelia before but wasn't sure... they really have some lovely classic designs 😍 the fabric and little touches are so feminine so am looking forward to seeing what else they release in their collection 👗 hope you've had a lovely Sunday 😘
I love white, or other light-colored bottoms, skirts or trousers. I think they’re so much more chic than the predictable “dark on the bottom” look. I wear them year-round, although true white is trickier to find in autumn/winter-weight fabrics than ivory is because the protein fibers, silk and wools, can’t be chlorine-bleached. So, I do wear ivory, too, but white really works better with most of my wardrobe palette colors (I have cool-toned, soft and light coloring).
It's great to change things up when it comes to pairing separates and being conscious of the "dark on the bottom" look! This has been my unconscious default for so many years, I love how you've highlighted this, Kimberly ❤ Wishing you a happy new week ahead 😘
As always, the presentations of your beautiful style is well thought and pleasing. Lovely work. However, at times, I can find the style a bit redundant or conservative. - The fabrics can be too delicate at times. For example, one should be a able to help people who fell on the street, who seek assistance, or to help carry boxes up to the office. Sometimes clothes have to be "work ready", let alone bicycle ready for a lot of office workers. Life is full of interactions and one can not always look chic everyday, at the expense of looking cold and antisocial, even living in wealthy areas. (I'm being direct so you understand the idea) - You could also try those vertical sleek bag packs, even some made of quality plastic polymers. Because of their timeless shape, it marries VERY well with a variety of cloth and styles. Leather shoes or any accessories. On top of that, it's convenient. - I think you could more often experiment with tight jeans, or with tapered ones (loose only on top). Loose trousers give a relaxed, almost retired vibe that can be seen as too "passive". On the other hand, fit jeans can highlight a loose top, for example a long T-shirt or even expensive pieces. - Imagine being invited to a trendy after-work on a rooftop with some alternative music, or in an industrial design garage. Paris is beautiful but even there, creation is a dynamic thing where tradition needs to be preserved, but sometimes challenged. I'm not saying you should change the core of your wardrobe. I love it. But some combinations could give it some crunch and multiply the possibilities. - Sometimes 1 different color can be a way to contrast with the rest of outfit. The more contrasty or flashier the color, the smaller and isolated it should be, for example one accessory, shoes, a scarf or a bracelet. Even saturated (non pastel colors). See colors as a way to surprise your audience, to display a different side of you and to display your understanding of art as whole. Your collection looks like a beautiful set of impressionist pastel paintings (1874 et 1886), but then Paris painters kept experimenting with cubism and other genres that not only change the way to play with colors, but shapes and symbolism.
I always love the outfits you choose! I think I might try that black skirt with the jacquard cardigan. I ama bigger size than you though so fingers crossed it looks at least a little similar.
Hi Pamela, thankyou so much, so happy you liked the outfits! ❤ I think this would work for a variety of shapes and sizes as the skirt is a fit and flare style which is quite universal. The cardigan is so sweet and warm too, so it's perfect for autumn-time 😍
These are nice fall clothes and combos you got. The trench coat is really makes you feel Parian and fits with everyone your combos well. Now we need pumpkin, I don’t mean drinks, food or even make up. An actual pumpkin to have in the apartment and maybe something scary for Halloween month.
Hi Irvin, thanks for making the time to watch and share your thoughts, I appreciate it! The trench is certainly a must-have for this season 😍 Is it ok if I eat the pumpkin 😂 Looking forward to all the autumn vegetables now 😉
@@LaurenGraceHarding pumpkin pie yes, I like the decorative aspect of carving a pumpkin or just leaving it as it is on a window. A tiny pumpkin is suffice bc those bad boys are big
