i so so so wanted to fall in love with the essence false lash mascara, but i found that both the regular and waterproof tended to rub off on my eyelids or lower lashes :::((( i LOVE how they look when i first apply them but throughout the day they just love to transfer like crazy! i did fall in love with the em cosmetics mascara tho, especially for my lower lashes, but i think i might get the rare beauty one for my upper lashes to get that extra volume that the em cosmetics one doesn’t always provide. love you and all your suggestions sm!!!
Love the Fenty corrector/concealer! I use the shade peach for my super dark circles and it corrects them so well. I love how light and hydrating it is too so my undereyes don't dry out. It's my favorite color corrector I've tried yet! I do have to go over it with a skin tone concealer though bc my skin tone is very fair and the peach is kind of dark on me, but I need that deep of a peach to cancel out my darkness.
Girl, I got the Rose Inc. blush in Foxglove this week after seeing it here so often and it is *so good*. It's hard to believe it looks even better in person, too! Thank you for always providing the best recs and the chillest content!

Ahhh I don’t know which base product to choose😩 I just need something light to even out my skin tone from redness and acne scars. I don’t know if the Loreal and LYS ones have too much coverage, but I’m tempted because they are cheaper and have bigger bottles than the Fenty and Mac skin tints.

Ugh, that Annabelle matte powder is STILL out of stock on Amazon 😭😭 Been dying to try it! I'm an oily girl, too. So far ALL of your recommendations that pertain to having oily skin have worked for me. Which means that trying out the Annabelle Perfect Matte powder is a MUST... you know, for like.. science-y reasons and stuff 😁 I'm 100% gonna get the Fenty Eaze Drop, too. It's just that ever since I've had to live my outdoors life in a mask I haven't been wearing foundation, so I haven't bought any new ones in almost 2 yrs. If I feel like putting on a foundation for any reason I just use one of the powder foundations that I already own. I SO wish I could get on with the Essence mascaras! No matter which formula I try they all clump on me and give me spider legs for lashes 😔 At 1st I thought it was me, but I can use TooFaced's Damn Girl mascara with no problem and that was a HUGE complaint with people.. even some of the models in the promos had spider leg lashes! So wtf Essence? Why won't you let me love you?!? 🥺 Considering how often you're supposed to switch out mascaras, it'd be great if I could use a more economically priced one.. but alas, that's not the life I've been given 😒 Right now my fave is the newest one from Lancome, the Lash Idol. It's a smidge harder to remove than my previous faves, but I suffer through it bc it makes my lashes look THAT dang pretty! 🥰 No need for falsies? YES, PLEASE! Sign me right tf up! Sidenote: Julia, just so you know... I freaking LIVE for when you have a slip of the tongue and mix up your words. Somehow they're always funny, or rather your reaction/recovery is always funny. Favorite one to date is the infamous "my nips need a shield from the cold" 🤣🤣🤣 The look on your face when you realized what you had said STILL kills me!!

Was there a coconut oil derivative in ur CT product? If so, coconut oil can make ppl break out if when they wear it every day. Reason? A derm told me that coconut oil has smaller molecules than most face oils so travels deeper into ur pores. Picture a vertical teardrop shape with the small part at the top. And with a little bit of oil oil from the day(s) before sitting at the bottom. We may think we cleaned all the makeup from our pores, but a tiny bit of it may be sitting at the bottoms of our pores. Ergo, breakouts! Cleansing more deeply solves the problem.

Hi Julia! I love this video. And let’s see… products I adore here are Fenty Eaze Drops & Bright Fix (my everyday light makeup look for work) and the ELF putty products! I bought the trio, the poreless primer, bronzer and blush. It came in a little set with a very nice brush. I continue to love them, so affordable and cruelty free. Oh! I love LYS, I bought a blush of theirs that I am in love with, but I missed your review of their highlighter, the one that comes in the triangle? 😳 no matter what I do, it doesn’t blend. It just sits on me like chrome stripes which is not super attractive when you are a middle-aged woman trying to be more subtle. Auric is absolutely on my wish list, I love Samantha, and her products look beautiful. Anyway, you’re stunning as always, and I wish you and yours a beautiful Christmas holiday. You’ll continue to be my favorite makeup artist in the new year. 💚

I totally agree with the milk primer and setting sprays! I really never noticed a big difference until I started using them.

Was there a coconut oil derivative in ur CT product? If so, coconut oil can make ppl break out if when they wear it every day. Reason? A derm told me that coconut oil has smaller molecules than most face oils so travels deeper into ur pores.
Picture a vertical teardrop shape with the small part at the top. And with a little bit of oil oil from the day(s) before sitting at the bottom. We may think we cleaned all the makeup from our pores, but a tiny bit of it may be sitting at the bottoms of our pores. Ergo, breakouts! Cleansing more deeply solves the problem.

Hi Julia! I love this video. And let’s see… products I adore here are Fenty Eaze Drops & Bright Fix (my everyday light makeup look for work) and the ELF putty products! I bought the trio, the poreless primer, bronzer and blush. It came in a little set with a very nice brush. I continue to love them, so affordable and cruelty free. Oh! I love LYS, I bought a blush of theirs that I am in love with, but I missed your review of their highlighter, the one that comes in the triangle? 😳 no matter what I do, it doesn’t blend. It just sits on me like chrome stripes which is not super attractive when you are a middle-aged woman trying to be more subtle. Auric is absolutely on my wish list, I love Samantha, and her products look beautiful. Anyway, you’re stunning as always, and I wish you and yours a beautiful Christmas holiday. You’ll continue to be my favorite makeup artist in the new year. 💚
