Well yeah, if the food isn't technically bad, why would he say it is? Some food is just straight up bad due to how it's cooked and has too little or too much seasoning.
And when he does ever say something it's bad, it's usually something more objective. Like bad ingredients or staleness. I've noticed he does that too and I've begun doing the same!
I loved the way Rachel immediately checks up if the woman is in danger.

One thing I’ve learned about this show is that I cannot make it through a whole episode of eat the menu without going to the kitchen and grabbing a snack.
While watching this episode I ordered my Hanukkah dinner from Katz's, so I feel you.

I realized when Becky said Harry Styles that this was filmed THE DAY it happened. This was the last day of the OG Try Guys. This must've been painful to put out because it was the last time everything was normal. I enjoyed it nevertheless. Keep working hard guys!

Honestly the fact the hotel staff thought you were shooting a porn, but were still like "Yeah, here's 6 sheets and a dozen towels, anything else we can get for you?" is both baller, and also explains why that hotel is so questionable.

Hotel workers making people they assume to be making porn feel safe, and offering extra consumables they might need shouldn’t be adding to why you have decided the hotel is questionable.
Let’s break the stigma around sex work. It is work and workers deserve to be treated with respect, the hotel staff going above and beyond here should be a plus for them not a minus.

Unless the salads so good, you can't make it at home like I had a very refreshing salad on my vacation to Texas (I don't remember the restaurants name but it was a Vietnamese restaurant). My mom, who owns a restaurant, tried to replicate the salad dressing but it's just not the same.
Its about the dressings! You eat salad in restaurants bcs they sold their souls for unholy awsome salad dressings that you cant copy no matter how hard you try

I actually love and appreciate that Keith didn't make a big deal about the concept of eating tongue. As much as my Asian ego is entertained by how most people think it's a weird concept, Keith normalizes it as you would with any standard meat. (Plus it's severely underrated and has a spectacular tender texture, my dad makes a great curried tongue dish) Thank you Keith for being so open with food!

Fun fact: the black and white cookies are a thing in Germany and we call them "Amerikaner" (Americans).
My grandma used to make them for me and change the black to white frosting ratio to my liking but 50/50 is the best.

As someone who grew up around this food and that this food as been in my family for years and is my home this was such a delight to watch. I love how Keith was super open to everything and it was funny watching him try to describe certain foods he knew nothing about.

Kugel is absolutely a breakfast item. In Canada, we ate it with sour cream for breakfast, but I prefer it with fruit. People don't eat kugel for dessert. Also, knishes are usually a side dish, you eat them with brisket, and you put gravy on them. I am not a fan of kasha knishes but some people love them. Anyway, without gravy, a knish really has to be excellent, like the knishes at Kettleman's Bagels in Ottawa, or in Montreal, where the real bagels live.

since u are asking, cinnamon is just naturally pretty spicy!!! buy some raw cinnamon sticks and shove one in ur mouth and you'll see how much heat they have (or if u eat a cinnamon roll where the cinnamon isn't distributed well and u end up biting into a pocket of the stuff), the cinnamon flavor we're used to is cinnamon mixed with LOTS of sugar to make it more palatable

I was screaming pronunciations at my screen 😂 Btw to answer the “Daddy” question: “Tati” is dad in Yiddish, אבא (Aba) is dad in Hebrew. People use both.

New Yorker here: New Yorkers order a loaf of bread alongside the “sandwiches “because we all know the two pieces of bread are just for show. You make six or seven sandwiches out of the meat that they put in one of their sandwiches. And then you take it to go and you eat it all week. That’s how New Yorkers do it. You don’t eat all the meat at once because as you said precisely it’s overwhelming. But really when you live here, and you aren’t taking anything back to the hotel room, you’re taking it home to refrigeration, all you need to do is buy that one sandwich and you can make six or seven sammies out of them easily.
It also makes the food taste better if you’re making six smaller sandwiches rather than just eating all that animal carnage at once
