    Maybe I missed it...but another great Nietzsche quote is this..."And those who were seen dancing, were thought to be crazy by those who cannot hear the music." Love Nietzsche, his philosophy literally changed my life...thanks for posting this!!!

    Check out these cool Nietzsche quotes!!!
    "There is a master morality and a slave morality".
    "I am not a man, I am dynamite!"
    "Dionysus against the crucified one!"
    (The full famous quote): "From the military school of life: what does not kill me, makes me stronger"
    Some quotes by Nietzche's most beloved ancient Greek philosopher:
    "A man's [sic] character is his fate".
    Notice the similarity of determinism in that with Nietzsche's ideas . . .
    And on the topic of fate, Nietzsche said, *amor fati*
    Nietzsche was a lover of aphorisms but felt the art had died out, hence his constant use of aphorisms.
    Oh, and of Dostoyevsky, Nietzsche said (and I quote verbatim): "the only *psychologist* from whom I have anything to learn". That's a mightily generous endorsement, if we consider that Freud said no man on earth had such a consummate understanding of human nature than Nietzsche -- and no one ever will in future . . . :) (So, imagine how amazing Dostoyevsky must be). :)

    • @VirtuosityQuotes
      @VirtuosityQuotes  10 месяцев назад +1

      Nietzsche's admiration for Napoleon can be understood in the context of his philosophical ideas, particularly his emphasis on the will to power and the Übermensch.

      Also Nietzsche despised Schopenhauer for several reasons: Metaphysical Pessimism, Eternal Recurrence vs. Denial of Will, Will to Power vs. Will to Live and the Critique of Asceticism.

    Seems quite overrated. None of these were "profound" and same for schopenhauer. I bought one his books and he basically says "think for yourself why read books! can man not think for himself"? Maybe some people read for enjoyment and because for me a book contains 1000 interesting parts where a human will make you laugh or really think one in 1000 convos. How can he say you're not thinking if you love ideas.. Ideas create thought and vice versa. Surely there are better than these two highly overrated people who speak all basic common sense. Its just bleh. I am an extreme but motivated pessimist. I need better content. "theres no facts just interpretations" Halfwit thinking. Its a fact we can die. We dont interpret it. Many other things can be said about these quotes. Anyone that will share some interesting pessimistic philosophers ?

      read the chapter "of vision and enigma" of the book "thus spoke zaratustra".
      well, you won't learn a shit just by watching shitty videos about philosophy, go ahead to read the book yourself, profound ideias can't be put into simple phrases.

      how do you know we can die? Maybe you can witness people disappear, but how can you be sure that you die or someone dies... death is more of a man made definition. He definitely included an art, magic, and spirituality to the thinking process. Had he not, there are plenty of "facts" out there. Its when you did deeper that possibilities open up, sometimes beyond the senses.

    • @harmanjeet1454
      @harmanjeet1454 3 месяца назад +1

      Death can also be interpreted by different ways. I mean, if someone dies, and if his/her friends are atheists they’ll think he’s dead forever, however if friends are religious his death is only ending of his biological body and he’s spiritually alive.
      And nobody really knows what happens after death, the only people I think who know are dead lol. Outside world can only offer interpretations in this case!
