Sent this video to my players. We've just recently made the switch to Roll20 and your explanation was perfect. Keep it up man you definitely deserve more subs!
I might be joining a group soon and I’m a total newbie. We’re gonna be using this software and I had no clue, now I’m a little more knowledgeable and hopefully won’t make an absolute fool of myself 😂 thanks bro, very informative
I'm new to D&D and I love it! I'm probably a third of the way through my first campaign as a player and am currently planning my first game as a DM. I would love your perspective on DMing on a broader scale as opposed to just the Roll20 lens, but you do you man!
I would *love* to work on more than just VTT tutorials! I've had several ideas for videos regarding world building, organizing adventure paths, creating NPCs, etc. that I think would fit that bill. Thank you very much for the feedback!
Honestly would love your take on Foundry. Your videos seem way more approachable than what I’ve seen online and that could be a better invitation to a new VTT :)
Wow, thank you! I've got plans to start covering a mini-series of how-to's that culminate in an example game, like a 15-20 minute one-shot that shows off how versatile Foundry can be for all tabletop systems rather than strictly D&D.
We do not deserve you! im a new dm to roll 20 and after hours of videos i still hadnt learned some of the basics you covered in your 2 videos. Everyone wastes 20 minutes on how to align graph to map and all you have to do is remove the graph and use your imagination!(not saying its not useful but still) thank you so much when i play with new players im going to recommend this video now.
You're too kind! With no disrespect to other tutorials out there, I felt like there was a sizeable lack of tight, highly-edited content to cover the basics. Glad to see that aspect is appreciated! Speaking of maps, I've got a whole video on the subject coming this week, hopefully. Thanks again! :)
Nope! The only time a player would pay is if they (as opposed to the DM) purchased any player-related books, such as Xanathar's Guide to Everything, the Player's Handbook, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, etc. These books, when purchased by a player, can only be *used* by that player. By "use," I mean you can drag and drop items, feats, and other useful snippits straight out of your compendium tab and into your character sheet. Otherwise, there's nothing else you'd want to pay for as a Roll20 player.

I was really struggling with r20 as a player but this was fun and informative to watch, thanks a lot

You deserve so many more subs. Nice vocab and editing, along with a smooth af voice. I would love to see more D&D/Roll20/VTT videos from you.
If i could I’d get the url to this video tattooed to my forehead
That’s how absolutely brilliant it is. Cheers mate!

HI was looking into this.question as a player do you have to pay anything?
