BACH - Anna Magdalena - Menuet in G major (Fait par Mons. Böhm) - Efraín García, piano

Este minuet fue compuesto por el organista y compositor alemán Georg Böhm, quien vivió unos años en la ciudad de Lunenburgo (donde conoció al joven BACH) y ejerció allí el cargo de organista y maestro de coros.
Johann Sebastian Bach conocía y admiraba mucho su obra y aunque no hay pruebas, Georg Böhm podría haberle dado lecciones al joven Bach durante el tiempo que vivieron en Lunenburgo.
This minuet was composed by the German organist and composer Georg Böhm, who lived for a few years in the city of Lunenburg (where he met the young BACH) and served as organist and choirmaster there.
Johann Sebastian Bach knew and greatly admired his work and although there is no evidence, Georg Böhm could have given lessons to the young Bach during the time they lived in Lunenburg.

Es muy poco conocido este compositor. Se conoce un poco más este Minuet, ya que está dentro del Pequeño Libro de Anna Magdalena BACH, pero el compositor en sí es casi desconocido para el público en general. Me alegra te haya gustado mi interpretación.

Sounds very formal - I can just see the couples dancing this minuet in a slow, stately manner. You play it very well. The ornaments are perfect. 🌹
