"The Set" is about a group of young filmmakers who experience the stressful, fast-paced, and hazardous environment of a film set.
We wanted to look at the theme of this year's WorkSafeBC film contest from a unique perspective. Often, the hard work and constant safety risks that come with creating a film are overlooked. Many young crew members are at risk of being injured by the equipment, or simply by the crowded and chaotic environment. It is imperative that, as an employer, film director, or producer, our young workers and crew members are kept safe on the job.
