Tim your a great fella... I love how you help people.. it's amazing your inspiring the good people to help also...I wish nothing but the best for you and your family...
I am so blessed to have survived a brain stem stroke in 2012. High blood pressure was my down fall. When I discharged from the hospital the doctors came around told me their patients normally left as vegetables or in body bags. By God’s grace and excellent doctors and nurses I am here with my family and living a great life. TAKE NO CHANCES, CONTROL THAT BLOOD PRESSURE. The world needs good people.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Tim I think the humbleness is what people like to see,, Diesel Creek had a few hundred subs and I think that's why people like him. I have been watching Shane for awhile, he good people.
120/80 is the ideal BP,(ex critical care paramedic, medically retired) most of the time the bottom number is the one you want to keep track of. 179/109 is high and definitely needs blood work and maybe so,e deeper investigations. Now Tim it’s not scary scary high so don’t panic but it does need addressing. Sometimes the solution can be as simple as cutting salt out of your diet or exercise routines need working on - you know basic lifestyle stuff, other times medication is required to keep it under control. With Dads age you want to get on top of it. The headaches alone is reason to sort it out The freightliner is a beauty, she needs a good name thought Tim Lots of love to you and all the family
I can't remember seeing anything that your Pop and you couldn't get going when both of you are working on it together! That thing is purring like a kitten.
Tim, finally I found a channel that I can enjoy all about trucks. Most of all, I appreciate the lack of foul language and I really like how you include your young son. Thar was Dad and I at his age. God bless.
@ Keith Chapman, IM NO DOC, BUT A LICENSED PRIVATE PILOT FOR 30 PLUS!!!!!!!!!!! AND SAME, NOTHING A BP PILL A DAY MAGE MINE 115/82!!!! ILL TAKE THAT AS THE FAA!
Dude that same exact truck I used to live by this old abandoned 2 story house an there’s was that exact truck an I opened the door an my god tha interior was so nice an clean it was crazy to see those trucks are good truck nots just that it sat for 10 years an started right up when people bought it an it took them 2 hours an it was on the road
Keep up the awesome work and seeing what everyone is doing awesome keep up the awesome faith with god keep up the awesome work thanks for sharing Tim gentry
Still loving the videos Tim. What Brings my blood pressure down is Drinking lots of water and most of all walking everyday make a hour with dad a day and walk with him that is what dad and I do.
TIM take care of your DAD he's the best friend you will ever have. I see where you got most of your knowledge of cars and trucks from your DAD. He is still a young man. I lost my DAD at 89years old I'm now 70 years old and worked with my DAD 20 years running heavy equipment in NORTH CAROLINA. I enjoy your videos and Gentry boys channel also.
My dad raised me in a truck like this from 1 to 3 years old it was an all black xl classic 2001 it was a great time I got to visit the whole country of USA before I went to preschool
179/109 is high and if it goes to high could cause a stroke. 155/82 is excellent. I will keep your Dad in my prayers and hope the doctor gets him on the right path. Love your channel and all the craftsmanship. Be safe and God bless :-)
I watch ur videos everyday what I love most about them is the father son relationship u have with ur boy I'll never stop watching. God bless u and yours
Your channel has become so popular because you are the people we all strive to be bro. The world is a scary place and I think we all find comfort in knowing there are still good people around here. Keep doing the good work my friend.
Hey Tim I'm a True Believer there's more good people in this world than there is bad and everybody helping him out is amazing man big thanks to you and your family and I used to drive the same classic just a different color and I loved that truck one of the best rides I've ever had I'm sure you will be super happy with it 11 years and you and Pops you guys have a great one❤💪🏽💪🏽❤🙏🙏🙏❤👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎👊🏽
You only hear about the few bad people and not all the good. Kind of like customer service. A pissed off customer will tell 10 people while a happy customer may tell 2 or 3. Bad news/people travels fast.
I'm tickled for you Tim!! You are a good fellow and I like your work!! Take you dad to the doctor about his blood pressure please, he needs to get that checked out and under control. See ya on the next one sir!!
Just discovered this channel . Such down too earth people and it's great too see the old Tractor units being restored and put back on the road again . Keep up the good work Gentry & Sons Trucking
I'm a driver of 25 years. I stumble up on your channel. Love the content and all the people in it. I live in Georgia. I've watched almost all your videos in a week. Big fan here. Thank you for what you do!! I'd love to drive for you. May god bless you and you family!!!
You being a good dude being honest fella and donating your time and tools to help get Shane on the road in a truck that’s as reliable as the money he’s already spent that is what put karma on your side keep up the excellent work and enjoy the ride lol
Just want to say I love your channel my dad was a trucker for 40 years before passing I love what you do for Braxton in teaching him the trade and also the rebuilds love your cabovers I'm a big fan of them I can't drive cause of restrictions on my eyes so I'm a plant worker so wished I could drive one so keep on doing what you do big fan of yours
I worked for freightliner for over 20 years and in my opinion when they quit making the FLD they quit building trucks, I loved working on the old FLD's and classic XL's the only real draw back with them was the fact the cabs were riveted together and they tended to leak water around the rivets, and this could very well be the issue with your lights as all the relays are mounted to the backside of the inner firewall and they get wet and turn green with corrosion, the Detroit sounded great once you got the correct modle ECM installed. DDEC III & IV are close enough to run but not always run well. its been a while now but I think one was backwards compatible and the other wasn't.
So happy to see the GoFund me list growing, praying we all can pinch in and this his rig running right. Many of us just needed a helping hand to get on track.
I proud to see you grow up into a RUclips gawd! Tim I can see you in the very near future becoming a trucking Mogul... I have enjoyed watching your videos and you have helped me to become a better man with your high Outlook on life! God bless you and your family!
People are sick and tired of being told everyone hates each other. The people have proven that they are the most generous loving people anywhere. We are together as one loving family, God bless ya'll, Mr. Animal
Tim ive recently had the same exact conversation with my dad after finding out he has very high blood pressure. Hope you get him to the doctor and get it taken care of. It's nothing to mess around with.
I don't know how to put this to you but you are so well-known and so many businesses they know more about you than you know about yourself and when you speak every community wants to get involved because they know you're doing something right where there was a wrong and it's also a way of telling those people who did a wrong that there's a community out there that's willing to help 👍👍❤️❤️😀😀
Tim I myself grew up in a Trucking family. My name is Paul Harkness, live in El Paso Texas and work at Petro Truck Stop at the Horizon Exit, down at the fuel islands. Yes I wish I could drive a Semi truck where I could be my own boss, which was my dream growing up.
Good Day Tim! After sitting for 11 years good to hear that detroit engine come to life a bad fuse would have been an easy fix good that you had a good EMC with you, the engine sounds awesome I wish I was able to drive over the road again. Your dad's and your blood pressure are high and should be checked by your doctor
I just had my blood pressure checked couple weeks ago 160 / 80 and they want to throw me in the hospital. Not good. Should be under 130. 179 that's really high. You could have a heart attack. Been there done that, already had a triple bypass . That was not fun. Now I'm having problems again. It sucks getting old.
hey tim i just watched this before work and i could hear the joy when you was hittin on that horn 40:31. man i know that feeling. great vid and work. hope you and brax and your fam have a good weekend.
as a 30 year old man who grew up without a father around . I can say you Tim are a very lucky man to have a father like that stick around even late in life to help you guys out.
That's so awesome..yes just because they Come out with new trucks don't mean go and get 1. Grab a old one with a Honest Owner. Pay a discount. Fixer up..and Ride!!
Tim, I really hate to contradict you, but it is not us allowing you to help with helping Shane, but it is you allowing us to help you financially with helping Shane. It cannot be accomplished without your knowledge and skill. Somehow, I found your channel a little bit more than a week ago and so proud to have subscribed and be a part of this channel.
You guys need to take care of your blood pressure. I have took pills for years now to keep it down. I was getting them killer headaches . I came home with the truck and went to bed for a little while and still had it the wife loaded me up took me to the doctor and they wouldn’t let me go. I was stroke high it did come down but I was thinking I was going to miss my night load but I made it. Love watching your videos. Keep up the great work.
Tim I've got high blood pressure also and they will just put him on high blood pressure meds and he will be ok! Don't stop him from doing what he likes to do. Which is helping you kids and teaching ya stuff! Cause being a dad is a learning and teaching experience bubby. Tell him I said hey and to keep a close eye on his BP. Since it only had one light you can call it old one eye lmbo
Love the classic Tim, I drove one identical to that for 6 years and absolutely loved it. Congrats on the truck will make a nice addition to your fleet. Don from n.c.

BP should be 120 over 80. Yep, your dad and you need to see a doctor ASAP! Spray the ECM contacts (plug and ECM) with DeOxit to clean the terminals. Some of those wires look as if they have been hit by a sharp object. What a bad location for the ECM- it can pick up all sorts of road salt.
Gotta love the simplicity and reliability of a 60-series Detroit! Also, have always liked the straight-forward operation and maintenance of an FLD Freightliner.
Tim, there’s a twin to this Shaker for sale off of I-65 just south of Louisville, Kentucky…12.7 and all, think it’s a 2001 model. On the west side:southbound side just past the Pilot…see it every time I take a load down to Bardstown or Horse Cave. Might be 1-65 Truck Sales…Glad to see you and your father got this one running,,,,
Tim- glad to hear your feeling better. Pops- be careful with the blood pressure something not to put off. Can be controlled easier if taken care of early on. The truck sounds n looks pretty good especially after seating for 11 years. Wonderful to it running n once you get the issue with the coolant, will be a money maker handsome down.
The Old Lines you got repaired had the reuseable ends. I know it's easier to get a hose place to make up new lines but sometimes a few extra minutes doing it yourself can save hundreds of dollars.😎

Patients with my type of stroke rarely survive. To clarify my earlier post.
Tim I think the humbleness is what people like to see,, Diesel Creek had a few hundred subs and I think that's why people like him. I have been watching Shane for awhile, he good people.
Truth! Get flashy or start producing videos and it's not the same.
Don’t let him ignore his blood pressure issues. If you need to tuff love him into getting it addressed. His family needs him to get it addressed
