Loved Jessica doing the monologue, makeup and stuff. Looks like a diamond in the rough. That’s a nice color but I bet it’ll be hard to match up if you have to patch paint it after repairs to some spots. But first you’ll have to get it home. You know you’ve got an air compressor on the truck. Just build up air and hook a hose to the red airline and push your red button in that’ll give as much air as is in the tanks. Might take a bit but I’ve pumped up tires off mine before. Hopefully you’ll get it home next trip. I bet after being there all day y’all went and got some good southern barbecue. Stay safe

If you pulled in front of my house I would be the coolest person in my neiborhood. Big-boss has already put new wiring harness on it now I'm back in shop for blower replacement, with load on wagon, BUT I HAVE THE BEST BOSS IN THE WORLD!!!BEING PAID DETENTION TIME FOR ALL THIS BS!Probably going to have to get new wiring harness

@George been around a LONG time, have seen and worked on some of their equipment when I was a diesel mechanic in the mid-90’sjust before I started trucking myself. Seen stuff that was beat up/neglected to the point where they’d fail an inspection…and their maintenance department wouldn’t approve to repair/replace. Not going to turn this into an argument or debate, I saw it firsthand.
@@Carolinastrucks that’s DEFINITELY a rare bird…most of what I dealt with from their fleet were the green 9700 SBA IH cabovers, and 90% of those were in abysmal condition. What struck me about them was the fact that the tractors were MAYBE 2-3 years old and worn out from abuse and lack of regular maintenance.
Will it start? Hell yeah brother! Man James, you've got a real good truck there! If it's okay with you, I've got the perfect name for this one: Katie! What do you think? What transmission is she running, 10 speed or 13 speed? When you do the video of driving her home, make sure to do unedited in-cab action only, I listened to the driving home video of the 94 FLD, but I could barely hear that truck because the V8 in your pickup truck is so loud, so that's why I want in-cab action only on this one, so I can hear that Detroit singing along through the gears! And definitely think about putting some straight pipes on Katie, she already sounds absolutely amazing and should sound even better with straight pipes on!
I muted the video from the trailblazer this time.. the trans tag in the cab said standard 9 speed but I turns out its a 9 over on the dashboard so it took me a couple times before I figured out what it was I call it a small h but not sure what it is really called.
You’re definitely going to have equip yourself with some media blasting equipment mate, you have so many frames to paint the amount of abrasive wheels and grinders you’re going to go through is gonna be huge. I really believe that blasting with some kind of re usable media is the most sensible option 👍 But jeez James you made my heart sing today God bless you and yours Jay 🙏🏻🏴❤️🇺🇸
@@JamesPretty I invested in a vapor blasting and a soda blasting setup as well.. had some great luck with that. Vapor blasting is not as destructive as straight sand blasting but still uses media.

Make sure you got to check the blinker fluid and muffler bearings and the canucken valve
was out of blinker fluid but I topped it off
Most new turbo gaskets are no longer divided it doesn't make enough difference so they don't make two gaskets for the same job

Builder’s Transport? Those things were ran into the ground long before the company went bankrupt….old green IH SBA 9700 cabovers.
