I agree. Sunset sandstorm is a fantastic level decoration wise. The deco is so smooth and no one ever uses an orange color palette, which makes it new and unique. Also the gameplay is so unique and I bet it’s really satisfying to play though. The big thing is how the deco and gameplay connects with the theme. A lot of level don’t do this well and sunset is a great example of a level that executes the theme and deco in really well, as well is unique in every way possible!
At the beginning i looked at the level and was like oh sick deco,oh what the fuck is this gameplay,and i left it at that for 3 months.Then i came back to it giving it another chance and i just loved it,the deco song and gameplay is amazing.
The one thing I want to work on really is timing. I have the hardest time with timings for a long period of time, if I could learn how to do cube timings a little better I could do a lot more demons on the top 50.
I'm glad im not insane for loving this level, it is seriously one of the most fun extreme demons I have ever played, and im happy youre giving it another chance at being known to be good
I also absolutely love Sunset Sandstorm. I loved it when it was first released, and did some runs at the drop, and fell in love with the gameplay, theme, and decoration. Crohn made a thematic masterpiece with this level, and it's definitely one of my favorite extremes by FAR! I totally want to beat it one day, as at the moment I'm not good enough at the game to beat it (hardest is Leyak), but I still love playing it through in practice. I find the repetitive nature of the clicks at the beginning to be super satisfying honestly, and it fits super well with the repetitive nature of the music. So glad you enjoyed it too, and major GG my man :D

5:15 well fun fact this guy on mobile called Zoink Doink jumps FROM FUCKING LEYAK to sunset sandstorm on mobile, eventually while the grind on suzan he would also beat doop on mobile but its insane to see him jump from doop to ss on mobile but that apparently made him infinetely better at the game just saying.
