yeah I usually add song names, but this one was so "off the rails" I used different parts of tracks and other parts ripped right from the game just to make it complete to what sounded bad ass and consistent to me and it ended up being a big mix in the end :D At which point I gave up trying to keep track of songs. I played through the original doom recently and I never realized how so much of 2016s soundtrack is just the original one but more metal. I guess it’s just weird to hear everything being played with an actual guitar instead of xylophones and synth noises.
I can just see Doom Guy standing in front of a huge group of desperate demons. As he stomps across the hellscape towards them he presses a button on his armor and 8:39 plays. And the demons morale snaps like a twig and they run for it as he routs them.
