In this video, I update you on all the goodness occurring with Slaanesh in Broken Realms - Morathi! It looks fairly certain that Slaanesh will break free shortly, but he/she/it has also had a child; a physical manifestation of the chaos god itself, that is known as the NewBorn! I have my fingers crossed for some very exciting events on the horizon. Who else wants a Newborn model?!

I can't believe I called this ages ago, Slaanesh mortals range is probably coming very soon. So many hints, the mirror shield for sigvald, all the chain shenanigans and now this new lord of pian miniature
That would be pretty cool but it I’m a tiny bit dubious. Just because it feels like we only just had a huge Slaanesh release
The description of the New Born being winged and beautiful and terrible to look upon sounds like Azazel from Warhammer Fantasy. Still hoping for it to be manifestation of Slaanesh on the table top though.

What a great video! I'm normally pretty neutral on Slaanesh, this new narrative has got me on the edge of my seat. I've been listening to the new Lumineth audiobook in my hobby time, plenty of Slaanesh momentum in there too. This upcoming year has alot of excitement coming!

Given that reality itself was getting warped (like stone turning to flesh), it is like this being is walking avatar of the chaos realm too.
Maybe Sigmar's ruination chamber with the Stormcast is his version of the 40k's Exterminatus. Meant to go out and burn / purge away the Chaos mutation and corruption left in this thing's wake.
I play DoK and Slaanesh and I'm so happy with everything coming out but I'm going to be so broke!

My nee-jerk guess this will be a form of avatar of slaanesh that will allow it to interact with the outside world so it can directly work towards freeing its true form from captivity. Which still contains all those souls trapped inside of it. My guess this will lead to another god-teir model on the tabletop that will allow a chaos god to be shown on the table without it literally being unstoppable.
Or perhaps it really is a new entity and its its child. Sent into the world to make mommy/daddy proud. Not sure which I prefer lol

Personally think that Broken Realms will lead to 3rd E with the Zenith being Slaanesh and the Newborn VS Malarion and his Shadow Aelves. This is very similar to what we had before 2nd edition

Wait, does this mean that Anerion could possibly make a comeback? Because from what I understand is that he wasn’t absorbed by Morathi and he didn’t return to slaneesh, so his soul is intact and running around, could he be remade like the other aelves? Because that would be crazy and I am all for it
no he did not need to return to slaanes since he never left. he remains inside slaanesh, he simply pushed morathi out of slaanesh
Fulgrim and Angron along World Eaters and Emperors Children are coming to fill the gaps of Chaos factions next year i guess.
Its pretyy sad that we have a new edition but 2 of 4 chaos gods are missing out

Slaanesh demons look smart and the models are impressive too. I only play 40k but their rules are good in that i dont know about aos. I like how the lore often claims slaanesh is the weakest of the four chaos gods but thats just going to be a trick by slaanesh aswell. After all slaanesh killed most of the eldar 'gods' including khaine which was a murder machine. The eldar gods were sentient warp entities made as leaders for the eldar armies and their greatest weapons too. When the warp became more turbulent and the chaos gods were formed that also changed the eldar warp entity weapons in full blown warp gods with their own ideas. If slaanesh can kill them it must be powerful even though it was freshly fed on lots of souls when it killed the eldar gods. Khaine beat down a ctaan or part of one and it still got beaten by slaanesh. I read a fan made story where the eldar gathered all the avatars of khaine and recreated the god and it was c a f. It went on a massive murder spree

The best revenge to this cruel world will be my looking for old-school fantasy miniatures (as well as newborn TOW minis), and put them on round/oval bases only - as a sign of eternal loyalty to Age of Sigmar!

god it would be cool if Aneareon ends up being consumed by tyrion to become basically the new god of war for the elven race but the beneficial sides to it so mortathi is war blood violence ect and Tyrion is the honour, glory side

Wow dude, AOS is going to explode onto the war gaming scene.
I feel like a Golden Age of Warhammer is coming, and AOS is going to take center stage for GW. The team they have working on this content are blowing their 40k counterparts out of the water.

@@Kitetsu I know this is a super out there theory but if the New Born is like an Avatar of Slaanesh, I mean I know all Greater Daemons are but hear me out. Could this be a way for GW to put less power versions of the Chaos Gods on to the table top like the Nagash or Archeon level?

Unless they decide to go down a totally different path.... the bat creature is the Newborn which is like a physical manifestation of Slaanesh. So like a Slaanesh Demi-god. I guess they could go a different route and make it the start of something else though

@@Kitetsu the bat winged creature is the thing that frees van brecht I thought? I don’t think it’s referring to the new born but is instead teasing malerions faction of winged elves. I think he could be working behind his mothers back during her own plan in order to keep control of his realm or something idk.

This is truly the best story in AoS yet, but I am supremely biased as a Slaanesh follower!! A brewing theory here - the next book must be some months off, maybe 1-2 quarter 2021. What if this gets a new model, say a large reforged SIgvald the Magnificent model with a snake body that could be released at same time as a 40k Fulgrim model that could be built either way? It would give a back to back Slaanesh release in Aos/40k with Slaanesh Mortals & Emperors Children. There has been rumors for some time that there is a Fulgrim model done and waiting its release slot. Either way this will cost me soooo much money $$$$$

Hey guys to anyone that's reading this, I think I may know what happened to Kitetsu. I hope I'm wrong but from the latest of his last message on Twitter he got results of being positive for Covid. I sincerely hope it's not true, but if it is, then I hope he's resting well now.
If a Newborn model does get made, I hope it looks a lot better than the new mortal champion guy, 'cos personally, I don't like that model at all.
Of every model of a Slaanesh mortal follower in all of Fantasy, AoS & 40k, the only one I actually like is Sigvald, which is such an awesome model.
