I can’t answer that question. There were multiple stages at the festival, and I went to one of the other stages to watch Mitski perform before heading back to the main stage to catch Lorde. I saw her whole set but I didn’t see the stage build
4 months late but yes they did build it in front of the entire crowd there was about an hour between Giveon and Lorde and they built it in about 45 minutes give or take.
